I think we might win another but the limitations are obvious.  He holds the ball in weird situations, fumbles like crazy and cannot put it accurately downfield.

If we are drafting early, QB1 has to be in consideration. That is what sucked so much about the timing of AR going down...

Doesn't matter how good he looks in the first or second half. He's always due for 1 or 2 back breaking TO. He's on pace for 20 TOs so awful.

We have not seen enough of AR to know if he is an NFL quality QB, at all. He was healthy in 1/5 games, and looks to have a lot of promise, but him being a franchise QB is as far from being a sure thing as it gets.

 

If a Caleb Williams or a Drake Maye is available you have to at least consider it.

Actually he is far from terrible. Last 3 weeks we have scored 20, 38, and 27 points. He has also thrown for a lot of yards. He is average, terrible no. Terrible was Curtis Painter, Scott Tolzien, Mike Pagel, etc.. Sam is bad too. Stache is way better than Sam is. You want to see terrible, let Sam play against a good team. We would be lucky to put up 10 points with him in there.

Jameis Winston put up big time yards, stats and the Bucs scored a lot of points as well. He was a turnover machine just like Minshew, if Winston was labeled as trash, Minshew is too.

I don't think Winston was trash, so you are talking to the wrong person. I think he is average, big difference. Let Sam play 1 Qtr and when we are down 14-0 and can't even get a 1st down, people will be begging for Stache to come back in. Unless they really want to tank.

Based on what transpired today with Cousins, I would try and trade Minshew to the Vikings for a 2nd or 3rd.

 

We have Sam and Kellen Mond and Minshew is on a 1-year contract, I think.
