I would have loved for that to happen, but it wasn't realistic.  It wouldn't have been fair to Manning for him to spend his last years in the NFL with salary cap money tied up in a #1 pick sitting on the bench.

Luck has looked really terrible throwing the ball twice this year. Against Philly and tonight.
