Pryor wants to be the LT. He just had his best outing against the Chiefs. He’s working hard to keep the job and earn a new longer contract next year. Ballard said he was giving him first shot and so far he has done nothing that would cause Ballard to lose confidence in him. Moving him to RG and bursting his bubble so early might have more negative consequences than positive. I would think they are being careful here.
I think the TE room is okay. I’m not sold on Granson. He’s dropped a couple and he doesn’t add anything dynamic to the offense. MAC is not a number 1 TE. It’s a shame we didn’t get to see much of the kid from Youngstown. I’d say we should keep adding bodies there. I think Woods can be really good. Not top 5 TE in the league good, but top 10.
