Well I'll take one for each side of the ball...Glenn would get a hard look since we have struggled up front so much but I'd still have to take Faulk on offense because of how important the passing game has become and he is more of a dual threat guy. Edge was close but Faulk was legendary and since Dickerson's prime was in LA although he had some good time here I still think Faulk would do more for Luck. I could say we take Peyton and then imagine the trade offers we would get for AL.....like first rd picks for like the next 5 years....and throw in some seconds....could build a whole new team.....but that doesn't seem to be the spirit of the question.

On defense I would go with Dwight....we could use some better LBs still too...and of course Sanders would be legit...but now that they are testing for HGH I'm not sure he would stay on the field (just my opinion I've got no facts to back it). We could field a whole team of former guys on this defense....probably as they are now lol and still be better than what we saw last week. I've got hope we turn things around when we get healthy...I was happy when we brought in these new coaches to help the staff but man...Week 1 wasn't pretty.

Jeff Saturday .. Even though Ryan Kelly is the future we need immediate help on the line and Jeff Saturday is one of the best ever IMO

If you want help on the line why not take Glenn?  A more premium position and he was a better tackle than Saturday was a center anyway.

o- John Mackey....  him and DA would rule the world.

d- Gino Marchetti... I like this quote about him in wikipedia "Marchetti's stellar play led to his being called by Sid Gillman, the Los Angeles Rams head coach, "(T)he greatest player in football. It's a waste of time to run around this guy's end. It's a lost play. You don't bother to try it."

'

Going old school Unitas to Berry, with Lenny Moore as RB & split wide as needed, I will just never forget him going out of backfield and just torching the DB , running by him and in stride skating the sidlines , & catching a perfect deep throw by Unitas for a 72 yard TD

Colts Hall of Famer, Jim Parker, OL

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Parker_(American_football)

"From 1957 until 1962, Parker played as an offensive tackle. He was selected to five Pro Bowl teams in those six years. In 1963 Parker moved to the offensive guard position, as a favor to his college coach Woody Hayes, to make room for another former Buckeye, Bob Vogel. Parker was selected to three more Pro Bowls from the guard position.

Many consider Parker to be the greatest lineman to ever play pro football. Parker was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1973, his first year of eligibility. He was the first full-time offensive lineman so inducted. In 1994, Parker was selected to the NFL 75th Anniversary All-Time Team. In 1999, he was ranked number 24 on The Sporting News' list of the 100 Greatest Football Players, second among guards behind John Hannah, and third among offensive linemen behind Hannah and Anthony Munoz, both of whom began their careers well after Parker retired.

For his 1984 book, The New Thinking Man's Guide to Pro Football,[2] Paul Zimmerman"polled 25 old-timers and asked them to name their candidates for 'best ever' offensive linemen," and Parker was among those listed, stating that Parker was "the best pure pass-blocker who ever lived. Knew all the tricks — the quick push-off, the short jab — that are legal now"

MARSHALL FAULK in a second!!  Never should have been traded

:censored:

We traded a HOFer (who didn't seem to be giving it his all here) and wound up with a younger, cheaper HOFer in Edge.  I have my doubts that the 'triplets' would have been as good and exciting if it was Manning, Marvin and Faulk as opposed to Manning, Marvin and Edge.....

My vote would be Tarik Glenn...... move Castonzo to RT and our OL would be much better.
