Please take the round 2 discussion here:

I've moved more recent posts to that thread.

Any corners or Lb’s available. We missed the boat on Wr’s.

I'm not a fan of Franklin at all. I think he'd be a slightly smaller Pierce with worse hands. His game just doesn't move the needle for me at all.

I think it’s safe to say we won’t get an explosive play maker in the draft.  Either we roll with what we have plus some complimentary WR or we make a trade. It’s a little disappointing but that’s how the board fell.

IDK. This list doesn’t excite me. So many went in the first.

I get this odd feeling Ballard will go with Ladd Mcconkey. Heck of a route runner I will say that and really fast. I can see Ballard doing that.

Do you guys think he can play safety? He doesn’t fit what they like in cornerbacks.

Safety - definitely. Very good football player. Well worth moving up in the draft for as long as you do not expect him to be CB1

Seems like Ballard tried to do a lot this off-season (signing Hunter, trading up), but it didn't work out. That sucks. I kind of wish he wouldn't have admitted that lol.

And it was for an offensive player he basically said!

I mean we did get the first defensive player off the board at 15. If he offered a lot to trade up it most likely meant that he wanted to get one of Nabers, Odunze, or MHJ.

Who knows though, maybe we trade our second (and probably a bit more) for one of the 49ers WRs tomorrow.

A lot of WR went this draft so that means less teams draft them next year which will be better for us! I expect we go WR probably next year since we tried to trade up in the top for one of them.

Hopefully after the draft they can make a deal to get an explosive play maker. I don’t like what’s left.

Alot of the fast guys left have bad hands and struggle versus press coverage

Ok Chris.. Move up and get Dejean he will be an impact safety for the next decade.

I'd like to get Mitchell, but he's probably going at the top of the second. Not to big of a fan of any of the other WRs projected in the second round. Most of the top talent at that spot were taken in an extremely offense centered round 1.

Based on what Ballard said in his presser, he does realize that this team needs an explosive pass catcher, which is why he wanted to trade up. Maybe a trade with the 49ers is an option here. It could help explain why Buckner's contract was restructured.
