  1. Troy Franklin still there, along with 4-5 other burners.
  2. Seems still many good WR and CB's left for round 2.
  3. Surprised at the pick, but feel he will be really good for this team. My Favorite team, now will cheer and support the new defensive end!
  4. Colts trade up with Chargers to #5, this years #15 and 2025 #1. Then trade with Vikings the #5 for both Vikings 1st rounders,#11,#23 this year and 2025 3rd. Trade #11 to Bengals for Hendrickson and their #2nd 2025, trade with SF, Aiyuk #23 and their pick #31, and 2025 3rd. This leaves the Colts with all 2024 picks, except #31 1st round, and Hendrickson and Aiyuk, no 1st in 2025, but 2 #2nds and 3 #3rds to move up in 2025. Draft 2024, take CB at #31, maybe Wiggins, Lassiter, maybe DeJean. #46 LB Cooper, Wilson, #81 S Kitchens, Bullock, Mustafa, #117 G/C McCormick, Bortolini, #151 RB Allen, Guardano (sp), #191 S Tre Taylor, Oladapo, #234....forget the name but WR Oregon St was 1st team All American returner.
  5. Good evaluation of BTJ ( at 29:17) and Worthy ( at 39:01) from Steve Smith and Lance Zierlein top 10 WR.
  6. Of course not, the agents are spreading these rumors with the hope someone panics and go's after their guy(s).
  7. Any new circulating, or almost all is coming from agents leaking to the press to position their clients.
  8. SF wants a 1st pick for Aiyuk. Only way I would do it pick 15 for Aiyuk and a 3rd or 4th this year to recoup a pick.
  9. WR Thomas JR, at 15, LB Edgerin Cooper somehow, and PLEASE S Trey Taylor by round 5
  10. Just watched a Steve Smith Lance Zeurline evaluation of the top 10 receivers in the draft. Both have BTJ as #4. Both said he would likely be expected to come in as a teams #1 receiver, but he has not been in that role playing opposite Nabors, The Alpha at LSU, and that expectation could be negative in his development in the NFL. Both said the Colts would be an ideal situation for him with Pittman being the top dog in the receiver room, and allow him to not have the #1 pressure on him.
  11. Same thing I said about the LB's, defense was on the field too much because every 3rd and 4-6 yards was a given with play action, no coverage in the middle of the field. Colts defense was gassed in over half of their games in the 4th quarter, even with an 8 man rotation DL.
  12. We just have 2 different philosophy's on what we believe, its OK. I am in favor, or hope to see 2 Wr and/or 2 CB's drafted this year. Last year we had Rogers and Flowers kind of slotted as the opening day starters, that went downhill quickly. Same thing go's for this years wide receivers, take any 2 of the 3 current starters, or even 1 out of the mix and its a real problem. Juju and Jones are not rookies anymore, they are capable starters, not Pro Bowl starters, but are starters and should be better than last year, and Flowers is coming back. I responded to the post saying Arnold over Verse, that is the topic, and I think the needs of CB/WR far outweigh a DE at this time. My real issue is adding a coverage LB, the amount of open 5-15 yard dump offs all season long with the middle wide open kept the defense on the field a lot, and was no help for the young CB's last season.
  13. Arnold. IMO biggest needs in the draft are WR/CB, S, LB, IOL depth. With at minimum 4 DE, and ability to scheme up to 6, I would look deeper in the draft, or make it a 2025 priority. I have done many mocks going edge in the first round. My observation is that after pick 15, the priority needs of CB/WR , as they are for many teams, get pushed down in picks 46 and 81 that the quality level of those 2 positions are affected negatively quality wise. With pick 46 a good to decent WR/CB is possible, but down at pick 81, those positions have been thinned out pretty well.
  14. Another, 1st this week. Addressed positions of need excluding edge. Picked Oladapo to transition to coverage linebacker at 6'2" 218 currently, heavy hitter. Trey Taylor looks strong at safety, a thumper, when Kinchens is a ball hawk. Pick #234 Anthony Gould was 1st team All-American as a returner, keeping starters out of harms way, especially with the new kickoff rules. IND 17. Terrion ArnoldCB Alabama 46.
