Hope that’s the case. A lot will depend on how rusty or not rusty Wentz looks.

I am getting very nervous and excited for Sunday though. Usually I am so excited and nervous I am shaking before kickoff of the first game.

24-20 Colts win. Wentz looks ok but JT controls the game and our defense plays well. Wilson will still put up at least 20 IMO.

I can see Wentz being a bit rusty here (although I still prefer him to start). If he can throw for 250 yards and 2 tds with a good effort from the running game, we can win this game. However, I worry about the other side more. A Seattle offense that is really good Vs our defense which is kinda bad in the secondary.

 

The slow starts generally shouldn't matter year to year, but they seem to with Ballard and Reich in charge (and Grigson for that matter). I think we put up a good effort, but ultimately lose this one without Fisher (most likely) at LT and a rusty Carson Wentz.

I have us starting 2-3 overall in the 1st 5 games but winning this Sunday. I think after the 2-3 start, we play good to great football for the most part and win 11 games. We have to stay healthy to do so though.

I think Seattle has some structural weaknesses that play directly to the Colts strengths, Jonathan Taylor is gonna blow it wide open early and we hang on by our fingernails to win 24-31 Colts with a defensive score and multiple turnovers.

The game will be decided on turnovers if the Colts get 2+ they win by 3 (a field goal), if the get less than 2 they lose by 7 or 10. 60-40 they get the 2 turnovers.

I think the defenses play better than expected, and it'll be a lower scoring game. 

 

I also hope they leave a spy on Wilson.

I think it's going to be another slow start.

 

23 'Hawks, 17 Colts.

 

The Seahawks will have a solid game through all 4 quarters. The Colts will stumble through the first 3 quarters with a mad dash to the finish line midway through the 4th and still fall short. Passing game will have timing issues and JT and the gang will have a terrible evening. The defense will do alright though.

 

There, I said it now bring the torches and the pitchforks...

 

Still looking forward to opening the season at home and I will very much be cheering for our guys in blue!

Paye gets two sacks.  Wentz has trouble being on the same page as his receivers.  Taylor gets 60 yards rushing.  Wentz is sacked three times from the left side.  Colts hold the Seahawks under 100 yards rushing.  RYS struggles.

I pretty much know they arent running the ball on us. So that doesnt help them in the passing game. Weve got a pretty decent front.  And then on the flip side how much has Seattle pass rush improved? I dont think they put much pressure on anybody last year. I could be wrong. If they cant get much pressure i really like our chances.

So many question marks makes it so hard to predict. Wentz could be really rusty giving up the ball. Will Fisher start at LT. Can our defense carry the team against a very active and accurate QB?
