SCTTS; less than 60% chance Luck v NE (Merge)

Wells has an inside source that explained that Luck is slightly higher than halfsies on playing. Wells has a good nonsense meter and I don't he'd be sucked into #ChuckStrong deception and hyperbole. Interesting how problematic this injury is. I think they're taking the correct conservative approach and having him healthy late is key. We went a long way toward winning the AFC-S Thursday. Stinks though.

What is wrong with the man?

Not what's wrong with him. What's wrong with the organization giving false info? No sore shoulder should last that long with the medical advances the NFL has, let alone the world itself.

Someone knows something, but won't say something. This isn't a sore shoulder, it's more than that

Drew Brees played lights out with his injury, now that was the performance of someone who looked like they recovered from a sore shoulder

I don't want to scare anyone but Jake Query was saying "if Luck returns this season." On his radio show this week. No source or info beyond that but I think it's pretty clear there is more than just a sore shoulder going on here.

I thought that NFL teams had to have full disclosure and transparency regarding players injuries?

Drew Brees had 'just a bruised rotator cuff'... and missed only one game.

If folks still think Luck has just a bruised _______  {fill in blank with preferred term here}, well then...   good Luck with that.

No, teams are required to list on the injury report any player(s) that may not play the next game for health reasons.  They are also required to list the area of the injury such as 'knee' or 'shoulder', but are not required to list the nature nor severity of the injury. Teams fudge this though.  Examples- Bill Parcells' teams rarely listed a payer on the injury list, and Bill Belichick had Tom Brady on the list every week for 2 years, and Tom never missed a single one of those games.

Yeah, Brady had a mysterious "shoulder injury" that seemed to never heal, although it never stopped him from throwing 300+ yards. It was a running joke for a long time with Brady on the injury report week after week.

You don't usually see 3 specialist for a sore shoulder thinkin it's a lot worse than they are letting on .

Less than 60% with more than a week to go until kickoff?

So are they at like 56.6245624% right now?

Could we inch up toward 58.46584579% in a couple days?

Is 75.6565988% completely out of the question by next Friday?

lol

The numbers game... The only number I'm hoping for is 0%-- the chance I want Colts winning this game.

Two things. First, the thread title should read different. There is a 50 to 60 percent chance he plays. Less than 60% chance of playing suggests there's a 40% chance he plays. Second, the source is basically saying per NFL injury designation that he is currently questionable, which we all know already. I don't think there's a ton to this comment by Wells.

That said, if he doesn't at play this week, I'm officially worried about how bad it is.

Larry, sorry that you take issue with my wording. I can see where some would have an issue but most get it. My source was not Brad Wells who has no sources. It was Mike Wells and I guess I should have specified. Mike has sources. Somethings not quite right with Luck.

If Luck does have to sit against New England I think we will be fine with Matt. The key to get a win is to score points and have no turnovers. Matt can do that. New England does not have a shut down defense so ball control is maybe the best way of being in the game.

And we do not have a shut down D either I say rest Luck. The way our D has been playing we won't have a chance

He seemed to be popping off high-fives rather well the other night with that sore arm. A person typically wouldn't be subject to such actions if there was an issue with that arm.

I think it's Malarkey....I hope

also shooting both arms in the air in the touchdown celebration thingy that he does

im assuming your referring to the coverage against recievers and I agree it has been horrible but I will add that the majority of defensive snap the secondary has been implementing zone coverages  because of injuries and new personnel which is not our style of defense. Im expecting manusky to orchestrate man coverage which is the best way to utilize the corners we have and also what there used to.

No worries man. Was just pointing it out as I see it. Fingers crossed. We will see as it plays out...
