Welcome Isaiah McKenzie to the Colts

I thought Ballard didn't sign any free agents.   Ok. I got that out of the way.

This tells me he is getting Streichen what he wants because it is a different type of receiver than what we've had in the past   Maybe that was what Frank wanted.  Maybe we'll know once Carloina starts adding WR's

Anyway.  I like it a lot

I like it as well. Adds some nice diversified skillsets too. All of our TEs and WRs are bigger high point type players. McKenzie gives us more of that TY skill set. Stretch the field, work the screens, shifty and fast.

So, four established receivers now. I expect Ballard to draft one fairly high and then have Strachan and others compete for a sixth spot. I can't remember if we usually dress five of six in games.

Strachan was picked off our PS at the end of last season as i recall.

So we need a big and another small to compete for a job.

This little feller has had some success so that is good.

6 drops in 65 attempts doesn't read well. Zero fumbles.

Strachan is still listed on the team on the Colts site...

That probably takes Zay Flowers out of the mix as a potential 2nd rounder. Too similar to McKenzie in body type...

Would rather target a RT like Darnell Wright anyhow. Upgrades 2 spots on the right side with Smith moving to his better position at RG.

If he makes the roster he and Dulin can do the motion that Campbell so often did. Dulin is a plus blocker out of that. This little guy looks to be a relief valve specialist. The avg. depth of his targets was 6.5 last season.

He had 4.42 speed and a 36 vertical.

Maybe the drops can come down playing indoors and a little better ball placement. lol

He doesn't have the success history of Hines in the return game so Buffalo let him go.

I assume you're counting Dulin, who has something like 30 catches in 4 years?  He may be a decent 3, at least that's what we hope.

I was hoping for a veteran like Thielen, but that ship sailed.  Probably Strachan's last chance to step up.

Is Pierce even established?  I think we have 2 established WR now.
