this isn’t what Seattle ran. They were predominantly a cover 1 and 3 defense... with a corner that could take one side of the field away, a defensive line that could generate front 4 pressure and the best FS in the game. if that is the vision, then I’m on board too. But this cover 2 soft defense is not the same...

I guess my point is that the Seattle and this current system r dated.  Look at the teams even running the Seattle D. Teams such as Atlanta, Seattle, 49er's, Dallas and even Chargers.  If the front doesn't get pressure, they suck. I hated this D when the Colts use to run it and I shuddered when I heard they were running this style of D.

50 year Colts fan... if Brissett is our future, I'm switching to Cardinals. Slowest, most sacked, least aware qb I've ever seen. Why is he still in? Does Reich have something against Chad Kelly? Would've been a good day to try him.

I thought Winston was pathetic, but at least he throws td passes occasionally.

Dont try logic. It goes over their heads.

To be fair, the GM and Coach have talked him up since last year as a franchise QB and most can see he isn’t so i understand why people are critical.

He is and will continue to be our QB1 so as fans we just need to support the team and hope the players around him can be improved to help him out.

Didn't Reich say he believe Brissett is a top 20 QB in the NFL?

Based on that statement he'll want to keep Brissett as the Colts starting QB next season.

Delusional head coach and very worrying in regards to the future of the Colts.

Hopefully Ballard is smarter than that.

This is just not a good team. Jacoby is a good backup, a decent occassional starter but he's not a franchise type quarterback. The offensive line is good, that's about it on offensive. Defensively you Darius Leonard, maybe Malik Hooker but thats it. They need a lot of work.

Big offseason ahead - we have a strong O-line and group of RBs to build around.  We also have a strong LB group and some nice young DE’s.  Need to upgrade QB, WR, and secondary in any way possible.

We have some draft draft capital and lots of salary cap space to utilize.  I hope Ballard uses all of it.

Agreed.  But its similar to booing Luck in my view.

im not big on negative talk.  Thats what it is... talk.  Im not happy about QB play either.  But there really were no other options this year the way it happened.

i am confident Ballard isnt happy either.  What good does B-ing and moaning do except just raise blood pressure.

on to Cincinnati...

We have 3/5 of a good line. That right side is mediocre. LBs are mediocre beside Leonard.   This team needs work

They regressed that's how

They regressed, but still through the last game of the year Colts had the #4 running game in the league. I'm not saying the O-line has played great, but ppl saying it's because Reich fired the guy last year and brought in his own guy is a HUGE stretch.

Why the negative posts? I figured everyone in here would be extremely happy now, we will get a higher draft pick now and draft a QB for sure now lmao . I am ok with this. Had a playoff berth been on the line I would've upset but it wasn't. Time for Free Agency and the Draft.

Will we though i get the feeling our FO is delusional with JB. I hope the said you get the season to prove your self and just supported him to keep their word. I cant trust a FO how puts him back out as a starter after this season.

The positive thing about this year is that it has shown us what the Colts r lacking.  Ballard is going into his 4th year of drafting. I am called negative for calling him out. However, show me the future stars and or starting players that he has drafted that could play for other very good  to good teams in the NFL?

Well that would have been more helpful had they lost last week. No, they decided to play their most complete game of the season last week with nothing to play for, then totally % the bed this week.

I agree with you there, Hoyer was the best available and we saw first hand how good he was.

I’m annoyed like most of us are but, Luck retiring pretty much set us up for this so i can’t say the season record is surprising and i can’t control it so I’m not going to tear every player down.

All we can hope is that Ballard sees what we all see and makes the required changes but ultimately as a fan we will still keep watching and supporting with whoever is at QB.
