Saints trade Jimmy Graham to Seattle (Merge)

Recommended Posts

The Niners are now a dumpster fire. The Rams need a QB and the Cardinals are ascending. However, it looks like another Super Bowl run for Seattle. Not just because of this move but because of how the conference is shaping up.

New Orleans wins the trade.

The Saints' did win this. With Unger gone, it is a big blow to that OL that was run blocking real well. Continuity is everything with OL. Now, the Seahawks are saying "well Russell, this is your team, we expect you to not be 0-7 when the Legion of Boom gives up 25 points". We will see how it goes. Plus, the Saints unload that contract and get some much needed cap space.

This is a good trade for the Saints IMO. Graham is seemingly always hurt and has bulked up too much and lost some of his speed. He's not the downfield threat he once was. The Saints get to clear a ton of cap room, get a first round pick, more playing time for Josh Hill who is a good-looking young TE, and keep buidling toward becoming a power-run/play action team.

Hell yea NO is cap hell right now the get Seattle's #1 & Unger!! I think its a steal for NO. Taking nothing away from Graham he is a great player.
