Could lose Clyde Christensen to the Lions.

Honestly, who cares? CC isn't a very good anything(as far as a coach is concerned). He was a terrible OC when they handed it to him a few yrs. ago and was quickly demoted when Pagano was hired. Man, if Lions fans think they had problems before...with Caldwell and CC they are going to be a mess.

Caldwell's not so bad, all he needs is a first ballot HOF'er at QB, top NFL offense, and a team previously well-coached and disciplined by a borderline-HOF head coach and he can be good for one year until that starts to wear off.

I think Caldwell is a good head coach. He took us to the Super Bowl his first season! Also, if you think we "magically" went 2-14 after a 10-6 season because we had a horrible head coach, then you're completely blind. Don't act like we, the fans or the organization didn't know that Luck and RG3 were coming out that next draft. You can call it "players not playing hard for their coach" or whatever you want, but with Peyton's future uncertain at the time, there was no way we were not going to get our next franchise QB. Before the "magical 2-14 season," we were 24-8 under him. No matter what anyone says to me, the 2011 season was NOT Caldwell's fault. Success follows this guy wherever he goes. I mean, he did win a Super Bowl as the OC of the Ravens. I think we let a great coach get away and I think the Lions are getting a great head coach.

Ken. You are out of your gourd.

:blueshoe:   OMG !!!  The Lions hired Jim Caldwell as head coach ????  Obviously - he's an offensive coach - but - he showed US that he is NOT head coach material.  Additionally - Joe Flacco reverted under his tutelage !!  :blueshoe:

Joe Flacco reverted because they paid him so much that they couldn't keep his supporting cast around him. :woah:

I wish I remembered who, but back when I was arguing in support of Jim Caldwell, a poster said quote(to the best of my memory)

"Jim Caldwell will never be a head coach in the NFL again.

Lol.

I'm pretty sure it was far more than just one person that said that :)

8 years at Wake forest and he was 26-63 than got fired after going 2-14 here which I can guarantee you was not a "choke" job for luck like you seem to be insinuating. Just because he recently won a SB with the Raven doesn't mean success has followed this man where he goes. It means he recently won a SB which makes him a currently hot candidate, despite his failures in the past.
