Agree! More will be known April 9th (per Ballard), so I wouldn't put any stock into anything else.

A very good example of the progress we've made as a society; these days we'd just aggressively demand sources.

And then if your preconceived idea disagreed with the evidence it would be called fake news

 

I should note I am using "your" in the general sense, not you specifically SCC.

I hope he was just playing coy. But you’d think if he wanted to play coy he’d have everyone on the same page with the same story so as not to contradict him. It’s interesting, but for all the wrong reasons.  

 

I don’t see any real reason for Ballard to lie about it yesterday. I’m gonna keep my optimism in check until we get some more concrete evidence that all is well.

I guess some have not. Usually even the Easter Lilies (those that only go to church at Christmas and Easter) usually get this story...especially with this being holy week. I'll add a little info. Poor Thomas gets a bad rap. None of the disciples understood fully Jesus' teachings that he would be resurrected but Thomas had not seen Jesus like the others as he wasn't present when Jesus showed himself to them earlier. After witnessing his horrible death he couldn't believe he really was alive....given his great anguish and despair thus his words he couldn't believe. Like those that can't believe someone is really dead we have to see the body...their mind just can't make sense of it. We all have doubts at times but that makes us no less in the eyes of God. He was willing to believe and God still used him. He even went on to preach all through Iran and even so far as to India until he was martyred. All the disciples had their issues at one point or another but we don't remember them soley by their failings...poor Thomas....yet perhaps through that act he actually is easiest to identify with for all Christians and an example that we can still go on and serve despite the fact that we have doubts from time to time.

 

As is related to Andrew lol.....quite the segway lol....it's hard for a lot of people to believe he is going to be ok given the horrible season and set backs they have been through. To me to have some doubt is natural...I have faith regardless that the Colts are in good hands and it will work out...whether that's him playing week 1 or week 6 or even if we have to get another qb. I think we have the right guy running the show that he will get this ship righted. It's going to be exciting to watch him comeback...much like it was for Peyton's even more so since he isn't doing it for another team. Like spring's arrival...hope again is springing up in the heart of Colts fans lol.

Like Marquez Fultz...you just wake up and say...today is the day....and you just jump right in! It's great because maybe Andrew can be on the field for off season workouts that start in April.

      Ballard does have thick skin.  You just choose to not to see it that way.      Ballard is the face and voice of the franchise.  Irsay’s health does not make him an effective public face of the franchise.  Frank was OK, Steichen less so.   So Ballard does the lion share of teams PR.    And Ballard has always said he’d rather the fans be angry than be apathetic.  Shows they care.  Of course, you know this but choose not to acknowledge it because it undercuts your distorted view of CB.   I don’t know what CBs relationship is with Kevin Bowen who I like.   So let’s say it’s complicated.   But on balance I think Ballard has a good relationship with the local media.  I’d be surprised if he didn’t.  He is loved by national media.  He’s got a personality and a sense of humor.  I’m sorry you don’t care for it.    Of course you have yet to acknowledge that you and Moose literally said that Ballard didn’t know enough about Mitchell to know if he was a good guy.   For a man in your profession, THAT is a whopper.  Why you thought that is a mystery?   By the way, hope you notice that at least twice I’ve now said you’re smarter than you show.  There’s a compliment in there somewhere if you let yourself see it.    But I think you’ve painted yourself into a corner.  You come across as someone who’d rather be right about Ballard being bad even if it means the Colts do poorly than be wrong and have the Colts do well.    The reason Irsay hasn’t fired Ballard for the teams record is because Irsay approved of what CB was doing in real time.   Believe what you want but Irsay has done the GM job himself so he knows how it goes.  And he has chosen to keep Ballard.  Unless you don’t like Irsay too, you might want to consider that.  Life is more fun being optimistic than negative.     Sorry this went so long.

      I think it’s backwards.  MPJ is definitely Reggie based on skill set and tendencies.  AD can become Marvin with his explosiveness.   Raimann - I think he’ll be Castonzo.  Ol reliable, underappreciated, majority won’t realize how good he was until he’s gone.   AD - if he becomes what we think he can, Ocho Cinco.  Cocky, competitive, but will perform his butt off and will dance every chance he gets lol   Jelani Woods - Jimmy Graham, fast for his size, walking mismatch.

      speaking of which, I’m about to win some good money.  I bet that brown would be FMVP, the Celtics would win the series, and it last at least 4 games.

      more reason to believe that after the top 3 wide receivers, Latu was their guy.  To not accept an offer to move back ONLY 4 spots and gain a top 100 pick is hard to do.  Bet if the rams through in a second instead of a third we might’ve took it.   think about it, if you move back 4 spots you’d still have a shot at one of the two top corners or even Dallas turner.  And we said no thanks, we want Latu.
