RockThatBlue
Would you bring him back? Yes he is obviously pretty old by RB standards, but he still is playing fairly well at his age.
Nesjan3
No, Frank Gore at his point in his career is the type of running back you bring in for your team when your playoff primed and ready to make a run at a championship, which is what we thought we were after we reached the AFCCG, obviously we have went seriously down hill since then, we are rebuilding at this point. Time to let Frank walk, draft another RB to go with Mack.

The Peytonator
Frank would do well to take a Dwyane Wade type of background role and try to win a championship. I don’t think he’d get that here and would like to see him go to Philly or Minnesota and win one with one of those teams. Just as long as he’s not a Patriot, I’d be rooting for him. ricker182
Yes. He's a beast. This team is better than most people are giving them credit for. Fix the offensive line, hire a competent coach, and we win 12+ games with a healthy Luck. And for the record I was one of those people saying this team was awful all around at the beginning of the season.
ty4atd
He'd be fine to be brought back as part of a rotation if they don't draft Barkley he just can't be the bell cow back he used to be.

deedub75
If I were him, I wouldn't want to come back. Go somewhere else and chase a ring. Unless he's fine being a mentor and rotational player.
ar1888
No way. I was surprised he wasn't traded at the deadline for a conditional 7th rounder. I feel horrible for him finishing his career here. trading him to a contender would have been the right thing to do.

Plus, it will take a few years for San Fran to get to the top while Seattle just needs a few tweaks to get back to the top, IMO.
MB-ColtsFan
Frank still has some left in the tank. If he wants to come back I would have him to save a draft spot. Then again, if we draft a solid RB in the later rounds I would let him walk.
bsteves
If Gore wants to return next year we would be foolish not to resign him. He is the best back we have had since Edge.
Aluckiswolverine
No time for some new blood. We need to see what we have in Mack. He has had minimal touches this year. Get another back in the 3rd or 4th of the draft. Gore needs to go to philly.

I have no idea how true it is but I heard Ballard brought Frank in when a offer was on the table to go to a contender and asked Frank out of respect what he wanted to do and Frank had a very simple response "I am a Colt and would like to stay a Colt" . UKColt13
Let the guy go. He got catfished by a ‘SuperBowl ready team’ once before when he signed for us. He wants a ring and we wont get close for at least 2 years I’d say. Personally I’m hoping he hangs them up.

GoDeep
Nobody "deserves" a ring. I would love to see Frank get one but as a team sport he's guaranteed nothing no matter what team he plays for. He's definitely not getting one in Indy, but he's welcome to play with us for as long as he wants, with no promises on what his role would be. With the dismal state of our O-line the past way too many seasons, I couldn't understand why anyone thought we were a RB away from a title. Coltfreak
Of course I'd want him back! What's the alternative? Not Mack that is for sure. Turbin? Yea maybe. This us team has too many holes to upgrade every position. He's still a 1000 us rusher and was the bright spot of the offense this year Why get rid of a productive player? Fisticuffs111
Seems like he wants to leave but I wouldn't mind having him around for another year. I kinda want to move on but at the same time I'm not huge on the FA options. And Mack/late round rookie doesn't sound too appealing, even if Turbin comes back. They could draft a RB high but I just kinda doubt Ballard does.
#12.
With the O-line being so bad and Luck missing so much time, it's hard to evaluate Gore during his time as a Colt. I wouldn't automatically dismiss the idea of bringing him back. With O-line improvements, could he still be a 4.2 YPC back for a season? Probably. If you went that route, you would need to bring in another every down back to share some of his carries, then create a weekly specialty package for Mack. That said, we'll have a new coach shortly, and the new coach will want his own guys, so I expect plenty of new faces.
Horse Shoe Heaven
I would like Gore back if he was inclined to want to come back!
