  1. Yeah, I agree. I think we will start experimenting with these as the season progresses. I like the idea of Hines/Mack in the background using RPO's out of the shotgun
  2. I'm not saying he is not doing his job by any means, but I just think he would be a GREAT RG rather than a little above average RT. The pressure has been coming off the edge from the right side the last couple of games when we are getting pressured. Given, part of that is on Brissett for not stepping up in the pocket
  3. I agree with the first two statements, but WR might not be an "issue," but there is great room for improvement. We have a solid WR group, but we hype it up a lot more than we should based on pure potential. I'm a big OSU fan so I do believe in Campbell, but he needs time to develop. Outside of him and TY, there is not a whole lot... especially after this year. I don't think it's unreasonable for us to sign/draft another WR in the 2nd or 3rd round.
  4. I think Smith is a very solid option at RT, but I do believe he is the weak link on the OL so far this year. Is it just me that would like to see us move him back inside and draft a tackle to compete with him during TC? I think he would be a top 5-10 guard in the league vs a top 30 RT. He would obviously need to put on some more weight, but I think his skill set best fits him at guard.
  5. I've been a big supporter of Brissett, but he has a long way to go. He consistently looks downfield, then just throws it to his RB's. His decision making is pretty solid, but he has to see the wide open guys. Deep field accuracy is also very poor. Has a good arm, but pass interference calls have bailed him out a couple of times. Excited to see where he takes us. Definitely going to enjoy the ride!
  6. I'm astonished at home bad the pass rush is. Zero sacks, and we made him move up in the pocket two times ALL game. One for a strike across the middle, and the other he threw away. Very surprised
  7. Yes. Now I understand why he is No. 4 on the depth chart. Should be No. 3 ahead of Cain. Cain is not the guy for us as of now
  8. He's slow but shifty. Some of those moves he makes in the pocket, very few pocket QB's can do that.
  9. I'm just as mad as all of you. We look badly coached and our effort is not great. But once we have our guys back, we are a very competitive team. Our top two players are out on defense. Our only WR(lol) is out. It's not fun to watch, but at least the young bucks are learning. I'm more heated about our play calling. Run, Run, Pass down 14 with 1 min left in the 3rd Q? Maybe take some chances
  10. Continuously have watched the Colts barely rush the kicker/punter when they are attempting a FG/Punt. Don't understand what their reasoning is behind this. Playing bad is unfortunate; lack of effort is inexcusable
  11. Some of those passes were not thrown that hard. And sometimes you just have to adjust. Mahomes, Farve, and Kaepernick all have cannons. Their receivers have learned/learnt to hold on to the ball. Inexcusable. Especially from Ebron(who has 3).
  12. I haven't even seen Cain today. I 100% still believe we need to draft/sign a # 2 WR to go with Hilton/Campbell. Cain has a lot of potential, but has a drop/seperation issue.
  13. Honestly, I think he's been consistently open/productive when on the field, so I'm surprised too. I assume he might just not know the offense as well having to miss most of the offseason/preseason; and that's the main reason for the lack of snaps.
  14. Luckily it looks as if we have Sheard coming back this week, so we will be able to survive a couple of weeks without one or both of Muhammad/Lewis. TY and Hooker was more for precaution I believe.
  15. In their defense, the Falcons have a deadly offense if Matt Ryan plays his A game. It's only been two years since they were in the super bowl with essentially the same team. We'll garner more respect through out the season.
  16. I'm surprised that Pascal is ahead of Rogers
  17. I think the hardest pill to swallow is that we all thought this was the year Luck would win us a SB leading the helm. Now, it's going to be a lot more difficult, but not impossible. However, if Joe Flacco can win a SB, I think Brissett will be just fine! The Chargers were 12-4 last year. Tennessee almost made the playoffs last year and just demolished a good browns team. Saying they are underwhelming teams is inaccurate.
  18. I also noticed Geathers played a lot more on special teams today
  19. I'd give up a 3rd/4th round pick and Chad Kelley for him lol.
  20. I didn't see that! That's awesome
  21. Mathis said his commitment to being great is why he puts so much effort into helping him. Starting to see dividends!
  22. More short post routes and LESS screens on 2nd & 3rd and long. I don't know what the deal is, but the Colts have been terrible at screens for as long as I can remember.
  23. I hope we do find a good No. 2. I like what Ballard is doing. Mack is our sure thing No. 1. As as for our number 2 back??? It's a big question mark. Could you imagine if Mack went down?! Hines is our Darren Sproles. He's an RB3 that should play more/less snaps based on the opponent match-up. We need someone who is a jack of all trades to help wear out the defense when Mack needs a break. I don't see Wilkins as that guy anymore. Apparently either does the Colts Front Office.
  24. It worked all game, and they stuck to it. Not gonna lie, I didn't think we got it at first tho!
  25. Jabaal Sheard and Lewis will make a difference. Ekeler is also just unearthly elusive.
