Britt will not be resigned by the Titans. Would any of you give this game a chance? How would you feel if Colts signed him. Me personally I'd take him on our team. Would bring a toughness to our team. What does everyone else think?

Always been a let down with the Titans and a bit of a basket case.  If we are going to sign a WR I'd rather sign one like a Maclin who might be coming off an injury but has a very good track record of being productive.

I know he's older but what about Anquan Boldin? He's a veteran with championship experience that plays with a sense of swagger we need. There are younger receivers on the roster that can grow with Luck.

Decker is an UFA and I would want him over Britt. Now if the question was who would we want that for sure will be available , then I wouldn't have suggested Decker. I also don't know if he's such a lock to stay in Denver as there's this thing called a salary cap. 

 

 

Yeah.. Nix had 2 off years but he's only 26.

 

 

Seems to me that although Britt would be cheap as all heck , he would;t be much more than another guy. He's had less than 1000 yards in his last 3 years and never started more than 11-12 games in his whole career. He seems like a guy that would help a team that needs receiving depth rather than a team which needs a go to guy or No 1. With Hilton , Wayne , Brazil , Whalen and Rogers , we don't need "another guy" which is what Kenny Brett is . Plus he's a locker room poison.

Absolutely not.  Injury prone and massive character issues.  Maclin is a signing I could get behind though, and far more likely with Grigson's connection with the Eagles.

Maybe I am just set in my ways, but I can never understand most fans ideas on players. Colts fans often pull the "attitude" issues. And I just cant get behind that. 

 

This is the NFL, contracts are not guaranteed. The only thing that matters to me about a player, is asking price. 

 

My thought is, Throw poop at the wall. See if it sticks.

Yep....and it could very well happen with Grigson having a hand in drafting him.

The only concern is durability, but he is still young (25) and turns 26 in May.

Then it would be to replace Reggie. Maybe he'll come back stronger than ever (that is his goal) and extending his career.

Want the player? Sure. Do I want the person? Nope. When healthy he's shown he can be good. He's like Toler, but with baggage. Guy can play, but gets hurt and with his attitude at times he hasn't been much help to the Titans. He can change it around, but I doubt he does it.
