Signed Alex Tanney to the PS. Probably a safe bet to say once they sort the roster out, he's coming to the 53. Gotta figure out what we're gonna do with the 2 free spots already. Probably be used for D'Joun Smith and Henry Anderson's replacement. Then you gotta get Hasselbeck a backup which will probably be Tanney. Don't know who else you could bring in. Gotta be someone who knows the offense in case (heaven forbid) Hasselbeck goes down

He is athletic enough to at least take snaps. He has done some backup QBing in camp. I only seen him throw the one pass in a game and it was on target. Stranger things have happened?

McAfee did throw a beautiful pass against the Cowboys last year so you might be onto to something there 06CBE. Plus, he can run & his tackling isn't bad either if, God forbid, we turn the ball over.

But at least Tebow can run the ball. If he had 10 blockers vs a running back with 9, I'd be all for it. Don't have to do great on every play, just get a 4-5 ypc average.

There are few backup QBs on current rosters capable of winning games, and even fewer if any currently that are Free Agents or practice squads capable. So with Tebow, why bother? If we are relying on a QB beyond Hass, we have no chance.
