Veteran backup quarterback Charlie Whitehurst was cut to make room for Cobb. Whitehurst figures to end up at least being discussed by the Colts, who need to add a quarterback following Andrew Luck’s injury.

Whitehurst isn't any better than Tebow.

You're acting like he is coming in to be the starter. 46% 12 passing TD's 660 yards rushing and 6 rushing TD's is good enough to be a back up and even a starter for a few games if needed.  He only turned the ball of 13 times in 16 games.

I don't think he's as horrible as people say. I'd think he'd make a good back up. We can even throw him in there for some option plays. Somehow as bad as people claim the kid just wins.
