6-7 wins. Richardson is a big problem right now, and I honestly don't know whether he is the main problem with his accuracy and touch, or if Steichen is ruining him with the way he's trying to use him as a pocket passer. I think it's a combination of both. We're becoming a bit unlucky on injuries quickly after the Bears game.

I think the problem is multi-faceted, and I think it's going to get worse before it gets better. So much has to go right for us to make the playoffs, and the only player I really have confidence in is Taylor. He can't carry AR every game though.

We are going to beat Pitt, they are due for a loss and AR won't play near as bad as he did on Sunday. We are at home too.

Pitt gave Bo Nix a lot of trouble and beat the Broncos 13-6. I'd say AR is about as inexperienced as him in the NFL and 4 years less of college. Their fans travel well also. It'll be interesting to see what we can do Vs that defense. Justin Fields is better than I thought he'd be. I know Najae Harris will be playing hurt, hopefully we can stop their run game.

Bo Nix is good too, that is who the Vikings should have drafted, my guy Penix got snagged at 8. McCarthy has bust written all over him and already injured. McCarthy reminds me of AJ McCarron, benefitted from a great Line and running game in college. Luckily for @NFLfan, Sam is playing out of his rear lol.

I can't see AR playing any worse than he did Sunday. That is really the only stinker he has put up in his career. We at least have Taylor too.

1 win 16 losses we just dont have the game changers that our opponents do and our coaching is suspect

Tbh it really depends on if AR makes progress this year with his accuracy. If he makes strides…which I hope he does…The Colts might surprise everyone. If he struggles….which I expect…. We will be drafting in the top 5 next year.

6 wins or 8-9 at best. This team doesn't have the luxury of last year's easy schedule in which the team benefited from only to finish ONE game above .500 and that was with a vet qb.

This meh at best defense led by the lackluster Gus Bradley as dc is littered with JAG type players (minus maybe 3) is not playoff caliber nor is it good enough to be the crutch of the team as AR navigates through his growing pains.

So the bottom line IMO is that this Ballard built team will continue on its yearly non playoff run while Chris also adds to his mounting sub .500 record as gm but hey as usual in Ballard we trust!

I see 7 good opportunities for wins on the schedule. I think this team will go 4-3 in those games. I think the go 2-5 in the others. So 7-10 is my prediction. Said from the beginning this is an inexperienced QB that will be rusty as he tries to learn the game. The run game is good enough to keep us in games but the defense probably isn’t. Double digit wins is possible but a lot would have to go right, including health.  I’ve always felt this is a sub .500 team this year.  Very young roster, bad DC and a QB that needs snaps is a lot to overcome. Playoffs are most likely not in the cards this year.  Thats ok.

I started with a range of 6-9 wins. And now we have some data...I think they will be on the lower end of that projection.

MIA and MIN sort of flipped. I mean...I would hope they can beat MIA if they continue to start Thompson or Boyle.

So I will stick with 7-10, with 2-3 wins coming near the end of the season knocking them out of a top 10 pick lol

    • I haven’t read that either nor do I believe he should ever play. I will say some positives about Sam though. I think he is on this roster bc of his mind. More I look into the guy the more I think he will be a coach one day. He understands the game and is extremely knowledgeable.  I suspect his true value to the team is in the QB room and the sidelines during the game. I encourage everyone to lookout for Sam during broadcast, he is on a tablet or talking through a play with Richardson or the coaches.
    • Why are people so shocked the NFL refs were bad tonight this as been a ongoing thing for years. Unless they get accountability it'll continue to happen.
    • The value in return doesn’t outweigh the value he currently brings to the team. So no, if they were offering say maybe a 4th I’d be a bit more inclined to say pull the trigger but for a 6th it just isn’t worth it.
    • If I had to pick a position to address it most certainly would be CB. And I’d see what it would take to get Greg Newsome from Cleveland he’s about to play on his 5th year option so you’re not pressed to get a deal done right away. He’s only 24 so he still has ALOT of football left in him. I think he could be had for a 3rd round pick and that would be a hell of a win IMO. He doesn’t have the normal height profile that they have been drafting recently . But he has a Lengthy profile file that they have been looking for.  he is 6,0 192 lbs with a 74” wing span. He is quick , twitchy, moves well in space and has the ability to play both man and zone. He came from a scheme at Northwestern where they played a ton of Cover 3 , Quarters coverage and press man, he also played a ton of man coverage with Cleveland. He should be able to come in and be comfortable within the defensive system almost immediately.
    • Injuries play a huge role in winning or losing.  Especially for the rest of the season.   Looks like the Colts get a couple of their starters back this week.  Much needed.
