  1. This is why you draft o-line early. This should have been the case for the previous drafts. I'm getting really tired of hearing about the worthiness of o-line talent in the first round. Who gives a crap to be completely honest? After Andrew luck was drafted in 2012, an offensive lineman himself, turned GM should know how hard it is to be successful without an o-line. We as colts fans have known this since 2006. Without an o-line the colts can go anywhere. I'm getting really tired of hearing defense year in and year out, when without a defensive line, the CBs can't cover nor can the safeties be what they were supposed to be. Nor can the linebackers get into the backfield.

THE OLDEST FACT ABOUT FOOTBALL = YOU WIN GAMES IN THE TRENCHES. I have heard this my entire life, yet I watch a PROFESSIONAL General Manager continue to ignore both offensive line, AND defensive line.

want an elite offense? You have to draft o-line early. Rounds 1 and 2. Lets be honest. Before grigson our only quality offensive lineman was castanzo. Obviously the line was in need of a complete rebuild, so why would anyone in their right mind draft second string offensive lineman? Especially a former lineman? Maybe because he wasn't a first string offensive lineman himself and wanted to return to the glory days when he wanted to start but "never got a true chance". Our o-line gets blown off the ball more often than not. Same for d-line.

Want an elite defense? Then you have to draft D-line early. In the first 3 rounds.

Having elite skill positions like - WR, RB, TE, S, CB, LB, is really an unneeded luxury. And it's easier to become elite at those positions, than it is for lineman to learn and become elite.

its easier to find elite skilled position players in the later rounds (4-7) than it is to find elite lineman for O or D in the later rounds.

the concept of what you need to be elite is easier than our front office is making it to be.

im just curious for anyone reading this. How many late round lineman are in the NFL as starters?

And how many late round skill position players are starters?

    FIRE THE COACHING STAFF PLEASE.

  2. I might be done watching the NFL if this staff isn't at least fired by the end of next season. Who knows maybe they will put it all together in the offseason lol

  4. Personally I don't get this. I mean I understand the win now mentality and all but that hasn't gotten us anywhere good for the last 5 years. The cowboys went to the oline and look at what a rookie QB is doing, who probably isn't as good as his oline suggests. The colts need need to keep making the not so sexy pick. Castanzo isn't LT material. He need shifted to RG. Do do you it's know of any LTs coming out of college that would be better?
  5. If I remember correctly, polian always stressed drafting highly skilled WRs when it came to route running. Marvin was the best, but they all were at least decent at it. Our guys may have straight line speed but idk about much else.
  6. Yeah I looked at his past posts and while they aren't positive, neither are a lot of my previous posts other than thinking (hoping) the colts were getting hot at the right time. I know a lot of colts fans have been butting heads especially this season because we are all looking for colts success like the good ole days and even better. This season has been a pretty huge disapointment since game one. The only game the colts have played to their potential was against the jets who have no reason to live apparently. (At least we aren't jets fans) Hard to watch this team go out and show no emotion. No want. No competitivness. Unfortunately a lot of us fell for it. A colts win vs the jets really derailed our unrealistic expectations. Its like watching your kid go out into life and make the same mistakes as they always do without any changes. We can see the same thing on the field from our beloved colts. Im not angry with you or anything. Maybe he is in fact a troll, but a lot of fans are also giving our team crap because well let's be honest. They're playing like crap.
  7. Calling the colts losers isn't something a troll would say. In fact, after what happened last year a lot of fans were calling the colts losers. This year? They have managed to be worse with a healthy Andrew Luck. How is it possible to backslide like this? Well because the colts have been sucking slightly less than the rest of the division for the last 5 years. Its awesome to have these franchise QBs without surrounding them with a real team and real coaches. Our franchise will not be a dynasty anytime soon with this current owner and staff. Losers find a way way to lose games and the colts do exactly that. Winners fight for 60 minutes. Troll? Sounds more like you at this point calling a fan out for no reason.
  8. You need a GM that has the guts to stop making sexy picks, and draft 3 first round offensive lineman. You need a line that can get 1 dang yard when they decide to. This line has NOT improved that much because they are still letting Luck get hit too much when Luck is making better decisions. HC needs to be able to motivate his players. I haven't seen a team play with so little heart since Jim Caldwell was the coach. And hardly ever in the manning era. You know what it looks like. We need to review our health staff hard core this off season. Even looking for outside sources like the safety Troy (steelers) did, and became a more durable player. Stop relying on mainstream health information in the NFL cuz you can't stay healthy that way apparently. We need a new WR coach. Who the hell is motivating these guys? Oh yeah. Pagano. I have more patience for grigson right now than pagano at this point, but that will end if he doesn't draft oline and pass rusher in the first 2 rounds this upcoming draft. Grigsons best move even if he's just saving face would be to fire pagano. This season has been torture to watch. Most of the time I'm disgusted, and then excited occasionally, and then disgusted again. Cuz they show what they can do properly motivated.
  9. The plan is to have a game day play book that they use from front to back. Or they ask madden. Leaning towards madden.
  10. Worst game of the year by far. Stakes were high, poor poor effort against a team on a 3 game losing streak.
  11. Andrew Luck being the most hit QB won't change without legit oline play. Unless they're of a 3rd round talent you gotta go oline round 1. We also can't afford to become one dimensional without a running game. Need oline.
  12. Because grigson has failed in the past we have to become patient again and draft oline. I'm not saying to ignore our bad D, but the Dline isn't far off if we have a more consistent pass rusher drafted which, this is a deep draft for no?
  13. Disagree on Defense in the first. Cowboys have 3 first rounders on that line, and it's showing in year 5 that it was worth going with the unsexy pick. I want grigson to do this. Need a new RT or LT move castanzo to RT if need be. I know this years defense has been rough to watch at times, but the line still needs at least one more piece, and we have seen grigson fail to protect 12 for the last 5 years. Oline needs to remain a priorty. Then I would start with the Dline and pass rusher, then CB, then LBr. But oline is still priorty #1 unless there just isn't any round 1 talent for the oline that's what I would be doing. The game has only gotten faster, and this hasn't helped the offensive line in this league. Good offensive lineman just aren't found in the later rounds. If you want real success along the line, you have to draft early. RB isn't strong enough of a need, for us to go early with that pick. I wouldn't draft RB until round 4 or later.
  14. I understand that. If you watched the SB in 09 then you would understand even the greatest QB of all time makes rookie mistakes. And that was from one HOF QB to a HOF WR.
  15. The running game improved once gore got here and obviously as the line has gotten better so has he. I think he is worth keeping. Why waste an early pick on a RB again? What's with drafting RB early? Especially in a deep RB class tell me what the point in drafting one early is? Can we please get the trenches taken care of before we abandon it again?
  16. I truly believe that our QB coach has helped Luck improve his play this season. The throw he made was what I would call a rookie mistake. As soon as he let go of that ball everyone watching was wondering where that ball was going, and it's highly unlikely that in year 5 of Andrew Luck that he wasn't also one of those people. It is also highly unlikely that he hasn't been talked to about it, considering he has played smarter under Brian. Now on the other hand if this happened every Sunday I would have an issue with luck not learning from that mistake, however it was the first throw I have seen him make like that, in quite some time. I highly doubt you have anything to worry about when it comes to this. His QB coaches only job, is to point out throws like that and tell him not to throw it next time. Other wise what is the point of a QB coach? There isn't one. Luck watches film after every game. Luck sees his mistakes every week. And it really isn't hard to determine on film, which throws were good, and which weren't. So why worry?
  17. Colts maybe getting hot at the right time. We have seen it many times with many different teams.
  18. I agree with this. The offense can hang with anybody in the league, and without a defense, against the patriots, the offense has to play perfect football. I see us being able to beat anyone in the playoffs that will be there up until NE. And pagano just is a scared little puppy in the presence of. So luck can play perfect ball but the offense won't be ready. Tonight will go a long way to show whether or not pags deserves to keep coaching the colts. This is his second chance to take control of the division.
  19. You are correct sir! (Or ma'am) thanks I'd have listened on the radio if you didn't tell me. Interestingly enough, that was the only channels line up I didn't check...
  20. I'm curious if they will be playing tonight's game locally...? I know they usually do, but I can't find anything about it yet. It's usually played on wish tv...? Thanks if you have any info that would be awesome!
  21. I cant answer that for you, but I would think you would get to keep this seasons tickets no? I suppose it depends. Do you get the tickets in the mail all at once? Or do they send them per game? If you have the tickets already I would assume you keep them. As for playoff tickets, don't you only receive them for home games? In which case the colts will have none of they make the playoffs
  22. Priorty #1 attain a franchise QB Priority #2 attain a solid oline Priority #3 attain a solid defensive line Priorty #4 win the SB
