I still think Wentz could be the guy, just get him some weapons and a full training camp, along with a more imaginative play caller.

Thinking like that will only lead you to disappointment. Ive been watching Wentz since he was in Philly; this is who he is. Trust me, next season if he plays this way, it will divide the locker room. Saw it in Philly.

Wentz has been ok because Frank has spoon feed his "project" and protected him with the BASIC run game for most of the season but as the season wore on teams figured out that this offense is nothing special outside JT and decided to shutdown the run while forcing Wentz to beat them.

Of course he could not when the pavement hit the road. You can blame lack of receivers (which they don't have) but even if they did Carson will throw high, overthrow, underthrow or get picked. On top of ALL that he's a BAD decision maker!!! I've seen ENOUGH but the Colts are stuck with him. A 1st and 3rd for him to Philly who by the way made the playoffs with Jalen at qb.

His inconsistent accuracy, holding on to the ball due to lack of diagnosing pre-snap are not simply going to go awaya

Well I don't know about you all, but I'll be rooting for the Bills and Bengals in the playoffs. I hope those two get to achieve success, they deserve it after all the years of suffering they went through.

I’m rooting for the Bengals, I like the rhythm they got going with one another :)

wentz lost the game his pick cost the colts 7 points the game would be in play without his horrible pick .

Has nothing to do with letting the worst O in the league (the absolute worst) throw for a 110+ passer rating lol...

Wentz is simply not good when he doesn't have an OL.

Look at 2019. 23 TDs and 20 INTs when sacked 34 times.

He was one of the least sacked QBs in 2021.

I love Rivers, but we all know he goes better with good OL play.

I wanted Rivers back for 1 more year and many laughed at me. Having said that, this is a stunning of a loss I have seen in my 37 years of being a Colts fan. The announcer was just joking (Archultta said this is a rigged game) haha

ballard gets worshiped for no reason  .    colts have zero pass rush bad corners   no wrs  and a horrible left tackle .   ballards wentz trade will go down as being worse than the richardson trade for grigson .

But he's so  transparent  lol

Meant to say Rivers is not good with a bad OL... But same goes for Wentz.

its all of it combined but you cant win without a QB  .  without the pick the defense would of held them to under 20 points .  the offense failing on 4th down lead to points also .    you cant win without a franchise QB we are the broncos right now .

Wentz- No good

TE- Non-exsistent

WR- bargain basement talent other than #11

OL- breaking down

Defense- Soft and no pass rush

All correct except the first.  Wentz is not elite, but he looks worse when his best colleague is a running back....of all positions to be good in LOL.

    • I don’t listen to games anymore because I don’t work on Sundays anymore. But man sometimes listening to the game is better than watching it. Kinda miss Matt Taylor getting all pumped..  I-N-D-Y lol
    • Absolutely zero chance a 40 year old Flacco starts unless Richardson is too hurt to go.  Top 5 pick, 22 year old QB who needs reps more than any player in the league vs a 40 year old that has zero chance of being in our plans beyond this year The people that want Flacco to start are way too short sighted of what the Colts are trying to accomplish here. They really don't care about this season if it means that by WEEK 17 they are sure Anthony is the guy and he has improved substantially.    What I don't think they anticipated is the fact that Anthony could be injury prone and has a low pain threshold.  I don't think he is the unluckiest QB to ever play.  But I do think he is one of the youngest.  Practically nobody on the planet (Even at 6'5 255) is mature enough to take  NFL physical punishment at the age of 21 years old IF AT ALL. Only time in the league will prove that.  I don't think he had any benefit in the offseason to prepare his body for this type of punishment- I think his offseason work was mainly to rehab his shoulder and his throwing mechanics.  Perhaps jacking AR up even more than he naturally is might be the play here?  Or the opposite- focus on pliability and durability ALA Brady in his late career. Either way, we will need to spend next offseason addressing this somehow to rule out weather or not its durability.  In the meantime, our QB is going to have to learn and learn quick to suck it up and grind through the bumps and bruises.  Given his career choice, he signed on for 15 year of it. Given his size, he should be able to handle it.  Given his game experience- it was an absolute coin flip weather he could handle it.
    • Never did I suggest that AR wasn’t the starter.  AR has looked got at times  but his type of play is hazardous to himself.  Till he stays on the field, Flacco is the guy.
    • AR said he couldn't run or plant the way he wanted to.   Shane didn't put him back in because he was hurt
    • Find a hobby. Listen to the game instead of watching it while you do that hobby, or home maintenance. I’ve been really busy during this football season and am watching less games. I haven’t been able to watch a full game yet this year. Just can’t afford to waste 3+ hours on Sundays anymore. So if I can I’ll listen to the game otherwise I’ve got things to do. So my advice would be that if you find a hobby or enjoy working on things around the house, listening to the game while doing those things can be more enjoyable.
