This colts offense is worriesome.

Absolutely no runnin game whatsoever, but ppl feel like we don’t need better players at RB

TY was locked down, put ppl don’t think we need better WRs

Wentz is what we need Luck to be today. Hope he gets his groove back

Hmmmmmmmm.............Brissett?  That last drive really seems to paint a picture that they don't trust Luck to go deep.

It doesn't seem to paint a nebulous, ambiguous picture that is up for inerpretation; it was a written sign blatantly stating it lol.

Solid evidence Luck's arm isn't right.  Dink & dunk when you have to get it into the endzone and then bring in the backup for a long throw.

Sad!

I saw solid evidence on the second to last drive that says otherwise. Luck can put the ball down the field like he needs to.

The last play was actually brilliant. Brissett has a cannon. They didnt feel that it was in Luck-s best interest to throw a 70 plus yard bomb. Thank God we have the coaching staff to think that. It was the right move.

luck never had a big arm he under threw 10 balls today lost this game  he is overrated was never good just threw the ball 50 times a game so when he threw a lot of yards and tds people think he was good he is not he throws under 60 percent on the season throws 3 picks a game and is injury prone worst waste of a pick i never liked him i wanted to keep manning

Week 3, 3rd game back from that long off from a serious shoulder surgery and you want him to triple the longest throw he’s attempted so far?

I’d use Brissett too right now.

week 14 and we are in with a chance at the play off? I’m letting Luck try it, not this early.

We all know he had a shoulder injury don’t we?

Maybe because we have 3 or 4 receivers and they have 9 defensive backs.

I know I'm not good at math, but...

Yeah, but the reason they have 9 DBs is because you are at a point in the game where you have to go deep to have a chance.  They're giving up the short throws because they know that the short throws don't give us a chance to win..........and yet we're content to take the short throws.  That is troubling.  You can't just take what the defense gives you there because the defense is deliberately giving you what doesn't give you a chance to win.  In that situation, you've got to challenge the 9 DBs and if you get picked off, you get picked off.  You were going to lose anyway, and you don't improve your chances by taking the short passes.  In my mind, the only reason why you don't go deep there is because you don't want to put it on public display that Luck can't make the deep throws.

If we’re gonna keep running the dink & dunk offense, then our slot receiver(s) gotta get more catches on slants & digs.  Luck has to have another go to guy besides TY.  It’s time to build that chemistry in practice with forced repetition.  Because we’re leaving a lot of points out on the field.  Could very easily be 3-0.

Exactly.  No point risking Luck's shoulder by throwing all-out when Brissett is probably a top-20 QB in the league with a big arm.  Hail Marys aren't for accuracy anyway.

Man, I can't wait till we win the Super Bowl so I can say I went through moments like these and never gave up as a fan. We'll see, sooner or later we'll have our own bandwagon. I just can't wait... but for now let's beat the 0-3 Texans. We fought hard and we fell short, nobody really thought we could play this close so I'm optimistic...

    • I'm holding off on watching him, because I fear what conclusion I will come to(saw one game of him early in the season and liked what I saw)
    • Except this is NOT true for 2018. He actually drastically reduced his time to throw with Frank. Which is perfect argument for why it wasn't Luck's fault for holding the ball too much before that - he was doing what was asked of him. Luck could work in any system. He was just executing the Air-Coryell that Pagano wanted his Offensive coordinators to run.
    • What was perfect? The reason Baker got fired/let go is because: 1. Lack of production of the DL... the part of the team he had direct responsibility for 2. Lack of development of the DL talent provided to him which resulted in 1.    This is what the graph shows. Low pressure rates, and low impact of pressures. This is why he was fired. I don't know in what way I can explain it better. I thought the graph was pretty self-explanatory.   If you don't agree, tell us what's the reason he was let go, in your mind.
    • Well….  Yeah….     We had a poor pass rush.   We refuse to blitz much.   And our secondary felt like it got wiped out by injuries most weeks.   Other than that,  it was perfect.
    • This is definitely a "careful what you wish for" situation. The Colts D was terrible for so many years, its finally been respectable with Flus and it seems fo many its not good enough. I read some of the comments about how we can improve and be better, well it could go the other way with someone new as well, we could be trash again.   This reeks of the Lions with Jim Caldwell. Brought him in, Got them to 8 or 9 wins whatever it was, Wasn't really great, but it was better than they were in a long time. Wasn't good enough though, canned him and they have been bottom feeders again ever since.
