Starting RB should be...

I really like what I see in Jordan Wilkins. I think we struck gold with him. He has excellent size and strength to be our lead back. He pounds the rock getting north and he catches well out the backfield. He showed a lot in the preseason. What do you guys think?

i think it should have been either Frank or Adrian Peterson after seeing how the draft and free agency panned out

it looks like Mack will be the starter when hes healthy, until then who knows?  id probably give the nod to Michael over Wilkins

Mack should be and will be the starter, assuming he's healthy for game 1.  He is the most versatile and the most experience of the RBs.

Wilkins has impressed me more than I was expecting but he has not been super impressive in the preseason.

Hines will get his share of touches week 1 as well.

I expect Mack to get 10-15 touches (again assuming he's healthy)

Wilkins to get 10-12 touches and Hines to get 5-8.

I will clarify, by touches I mean run or pass.

If he is still on the roster, Hines will not sniff the ball week 1. Coaches will not play a guy they don't trust. Hines is a fumbler = cannot be trusted

You are a funny little man.

That's what people said after the Baltimore game and all that happened was Hines got Michael's snaps at the RB behind Wilkins.

Unless he sprains an ankle and ends up on the IR and declared a bust, I'd expect he'll make the 53.

Anything can happen, at any time, and I'll be watching.

This took such a dramatic and dark turn

Watkins and Mack 50/50

Watkins is the 1st down back.

Wilkins*

But we knew what you meant

14 carries 28 yds. I'm excited!

Believe it or not, I think Turbin and Wilkins will prove to be the 1-2  RBs. I think Mack will be the change of pace third down specialist. Turbin is better than people give him credit; I think he becomes the #1 back. Hines will be catching splinters for a while. Michael gets cut when Turbin returns.

Andrew Luck at running back with Brissett at QB.

And/Or:

Andrew Luck at right tackle with Brissett at QB.

I would suggest that Luck might also be an improvement at strong side linebacker, but some of you might think I was getting a little ridiculous at the point.

Michael hasn't showed much of anything just how many times his lousy vision gets him caught in the backfield.

I don't think we will really have a starter in the traditional sense.  I believe the carries will be split primarily between Mack, Turbin (when back from suspension) and Jordan Wilkins.  C. Michals should see more carries until Turbin returns.  They will follow the Eagles type of committee running back model.

If one person has to be named then I would say Mack for now but I really like Jordan Wilkins more as the season progresses.
