Dak over Romo?? What do you think?

I am going to assume you all know how well Dak Prescott has been doing so far this preseason (22-27, 338 yds, 6 total TDs). The kid is a beast, with more TDs (6) than Incompletions (5). His QBR so far (156.4) is just 1.9 points shy of perfect (158.3). With Romo back in the fold, we should all assume he will get the starting gig back. But with the way Dak has performed so far, if Romo starts to slide, it's very reasonable to see Dak starting later in the year! What do you think?

Dak will play when Romo gets hurt

A lot of this depends on their record during the slide and health of Romo.  I doubt if they are winning they would switch QBs unless Romo has a 1:3  TD:INT ratio and they are winning despite him.

Keep in mind, the Broncos came back to Peyton last year to win the SuperBowl even though Brock was doing better in the time Peyton was hurt.  Sometimes experience is more important to a winning team than stats.

sorry, I just wanted to see what "will not be tolerated" meant.

to answer you question.....not a chance in hell.

Idk. It sounds good though! It's really just trying to prevent some of the back and forth arguments in my past posts! It was annoying having a comment every other time that included hate! Hope this answers your question!!

Cowboys should win the division so Romo goes until he cannot go. Prescott should sit out the year learning. Modern day football has been tainted with a few rookies that have succeeded in their rookie seasons. Sitting the bench with a clip board and learning professional football and it coaches and players is still the way to succeed down the road. Don't lose sight of the ratio of players that fail in the NFL versus those that succeed.

Romo plays unless he's hurt.  You don't displace a successful regular season quarterback with a promising pre-season one.

However the Cowboys could try and take that pre-season promise and see if a team will send out some high round picks for him.

Or they could try and make him their QB of the future.

Now we are going to see what happens when the preseason darling actually gets the start.  Hard to predict, but I think they have to feel better than they would have if Dak had sucked all preseason.  Looks like the Giants or Redskins will win the division this year.

Assuming Romo doesn't eat him before he suffers his yearly injury then yes...
