Downs has much better games when Minshew is the QB.  His target rate  and  utilization is higher.

I'm not.  He hasn't looked good in a long time.  Looks like he is just out there right now.  Hardly know he is even on the field.

I’ve been watching him on most defensive plays, and he is just terrible.  Playing very timid.  At this point he is a liability out there.

that is why ballard is so scared to sign guys to new contracts now .   nelson leonard under play their contracts only buckner and grover show up

Richardson's skill set is useless at this point. He has to rely a lot on play action. Down 20, thr Rams won't play the run.

I would like to Steichen open up the passing game more.  

 

No point in running Richardson on these QB draws, designed runs which just expose him to hits. 

 

The only way we are getting back into this game is with some chunk plays on offense.  

 

Either way its good for his development to get some reps on reading defenses, making accurate throws, etc.
