Bringing this up again after the Vikings game.
The defense was the bright spot in the game, but were they good? No. Good enough? Probably.
They gave up over 400 yards and the Vikings held the ball for about 37 minutes.
Darnold had the best game of his career (which is becoming the norm for opposing QBs) and Jefferson had his season high.
Still, if the offense could have at least got into the red zone, it would have helped.
In this game, except for about a half dozen players, the entire team and coaching staff were pathetic.
Whatever Superman was talking about started before this season. I think it has something to do with the leaders on the team, simply not being good enough. You can't have a G be the best player on your team. He can't really make a play to win you a game, and situational football needs those types of players.
