What does it take to be a good / great football head coach? That answer goes far beyond scheme or philosophy. It takes a form of leadership that the players respect, believe in and will perform for.
Keep hiring simple Xs and Os guys and prepare to be constant losers or a .500 level team at best.
The Colts tolerate mediocrity at every level. They don't have high enough expectations, nor do they demand performance. That's on Jim Irsay. Don't see that changing.
