Oh, your talking about expanding the playoffs? I want them to go to 8 in the AFC, and 8 in the NFC. Every team would play in the first round. You would have 4 wildcards instead of 2 in both AFC and NFC.

So let half the team into the playoffs? IMO that'd be the dumbest thing ever. I already don't like the thurs night games. What's the point if half the teams make it into the playoffs? The the others are tanking for high draft picks. Stupid

Given that we stand pat right now, there's still no guarantee we get a compensatory pick next year.  Not signing any additional players that could help the team for the sole purpose of trying to make sure we get at least one (probably late round) compensatory draft pick next year seems....odd.

We actually have 70 players on the roster now so if we go into camp with 90, thats 5 draft picks (unless we trade down and get another 1-2) plus 15 other players from wherever, I have actually been looking through different leagues online scouring through players at positions we have a need at....So far I came across this DJ Summer OLB/DE kid, 6'1 265lbs, Very quick first step, agile, Played at Toledo, Now in the IFL.......He is intriguing skill wise

No, no, no.

1/2 the teams make the playoffs, the others go into a lottery for the top draft picks, and Cuban down't predict the NFL is on it's way out.

The reason I ask is, what are the chances that a team drafts a center and lets their existing center go? Do you think anyone would do that and we would be able to pick up the guy they let go?

Probably highly unlikely, but, hey, it's the offseason, I may as well throw it out there now.

I'd like to see Major Wright cool name and he has 9 ints and a score every since he became a starter 3 yrs ago. Unless Holmes is really looking good I don't know why we haven't looked at Goodwin. He is a vet been thru the wars I know he's 35 but has a couple of yrs left. I guess we are just waiting for the draft and June 1st cuts.
