I'm going with FOUR players:

LB Zaire Franklin (the average fan won't know his name - but - players will)

DT DeForest Buckner

LG Quenton Nelson

DT Grover Stewart - or - DB Kenny Moore II - or - K Matt Gay  (TIE)

Is voting open yet?

How about Ryan Kelly?   Isn’t he having his best year?    Isn’t he the highest graded center in football this year?

I hope Kelly gets recognition this year.

Will he get votes though? We certainly all know who he is, but does the rest of the country? I imagine a center from one of the main contenders will probably get more recognition.

I think he’ll get votes from his fellow NFL players.   But, you may be right,  the fans vote may hurt him.   I think it was just a year or two ago, that 7 Colts made the Pro Bowl.    So,  I hope the voting goes Kelly’s way.   I think he’s deserving.

There’s only so many spots available and it is largely based on reputation.  See Q making it again.  He’s been solid but hardly dominant.  I do think they got the Colts’ players about right though this year.  I would have liked to have seen Buckner and Raimann make the team. Blackmon too

Just a popularity contest. Some amazing names on here that should have made it.

https://www.nfl.com/news/2024-pro-bowl-games-snubs-josh-allen-brandon-aiyuk-among-players-left-out

Derrick Henry made the pro bowl and Keenan Allen?

they really need to stop letting fans vote.  I know there’s coach and player voting as well but I still think the fan vote is way too heavily weighted.

it’s not even a popularity contest.  It’s a bunch of casual fans just hitting the names of people they have heard of.

Pittman and Franklin not getting in this year is a crime. Alternate doesn’t count

I think it’s quite possible that by the time some of the starters beg off with various excuses that will be called injuries or illness, some of our guys who have been “left off”  will eventually make the roster.   Seems to happen every year.

Raimann will get his dues soon. I imagine when the NFL Top 100 comes out next summer and people see his name that will push the needle a bit.

It’s still just a popularity contest though. It should only be players and coaches voting.

Raimann will not be in the top 100 this summer. No chance.

I legit looked at my comment after posting it and thought the same thing to be honest. It’s a bad take. Thought about editing it and removing it but oh well.

You’re right. He’s not the #1 left tackle in the league so it’s true.

That's good, it's just one meaningless game avoided getting hurt.

These things would help get a bigger contract, but if a player is really playing at that level teams start to notice anyway.

In the end, if the player has fun on the field, gets to play what he loves for a good while and if that helps him get his family set up well for the future, that's all that he has to care about!

As far as the league is concerned, Brandon Aiyuk and David Montgomery are two names that went under the radar but their phenomenal performance in shared/limited roles should set them up for better future. Amon-Ra St Brown as well.

Colts should look to sign up Aiyuk if he hits free agency.
