Then we’re destined for the AFC South cellar.  Levis is all hype.  I don’t know much about McKee but I haven’t heard anything about him being a 1st round QB.

i rather take a chance on his ceiling then watch this trainwreck at QB.   worst case if levis is a bust 2024 class should be even stronger .

You need to read more. I want no part of Stroud or whoever else you mentioned.  Levis could be the 1st. Pick.

It's a 50/50.

Not saying it's a great pass. It was a 50/50.

And we should not run short TE Granson (I think it was him) on 9s

Granson hasn't thrown 12 interceptions

Granson isn't leading the league in turnovers.

Matt Ryan is.

So tired of him at QB. He's the guy throwing the ball, it falls on his shoulders.

I'm not sure why the same people who want to throw want Ryan to sit. Let him end this season out.

No. I’m fine with him sticking around. In fact I want him to play every snap just so there’s 0.000000000% doubt that he’s more washed than a river bed. I want him to have admirably gotten us into position to draft a guy, and then surrender his massive cap hit next year because he’s stealing Jim Irsay’s money.

His pre-snap reads aren’t what I expected from a vet QB, Rivers was SOOOO MUCH better

not always. But that shows you how close minded you are.

That would set this team back at least 5 years. I can’t imagine a worse idea.

How do you figure?  If we swap 1sts, it would probably take another 1st, &  a 2nd or 3rd, and possibly a player like Kenny Moore.  I don’t see how that sets us back years.

I feel like MR will retire most likely. I can't see him wanting to play football again after this year in particular.

If you lead the league in turnovers, you are the common denominator.

It's not closed minded, its the facts of the mattrer.

2 people touch the ball every play, and only one of them leads the league in turnovers.

I also didn't say "always" but a pattern is a pattern.

    • Yeah, like Bo Nix??     So much over reaching for QBs.
    • The Matt Gay hate is a convenient outlet for Chris Ballard hate. Which explains why it's mostly unreasonable.   However, I don't understand why they're putting him out there right now. He's evidently hurt, and he needs some time to get right.
    • Speaking of Baker:   I've been skeptical that Bryce Young can overcome the marks against him, so I'm not exactly waiting for him to turn it on. But I was skeptical about Baker as well, for different reasons. He never looked as ineffective and incapable as Bryce has looked so far, but he's a good example of a player who a) was in a bad situation, and b) still had to get better at QBing.
    • Well, I thought the Olubi kid showed some solid play making ability with good tackling so i'm surprised they pushed rookie Carlies, who missed a fair amount of time, ahead of him so quickly. So one could say the position has been addressed by drafting a LB each of the last 2 seasons with guys our people like.  Carlies did play 46 snaps Sunday. Like our other Gus led LB's he didn't seem to be where he needed to be when needed. But what the hey, that becomes much more likely when you have 2-3 seasons under your belt, With a d-line playing well in front of you.     It wouldn't surprise me at all if Williams throws for 250+ with 3 touchdowns. The little devil on my shoulder tells me it would be a good thing, just another nail in Gus's coffin. And of course that is a sad place to be. lol
    • If the past two seasons have shown anything, it's that you can never fully write off a QB based off of limited information. The NFL journey can be a long one.    Geno Smith, Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold... All written off as failures just a few years ago.    @Superman and I have spoken for years on how the surrounding organization plays as much of a role in the success of a QB as traits and abilities.
