If they hadn't got the sack, they might have tried something.  Sack kept the clock moving.  One of the few situations where taking the sack was probably a better decision than throwing the ball away.

Hindsight and all, but Holder posed the same question I had, about Brissett practicing this week. Hoyer, and even Kelly, could've used more practice reps. Not that it would look any differen

It is amazing how many people here thought Hoyer was actually better than JB. If JB was playing no way we would be losing. I guess 1 player does make a difference. I would put Kelly in to start the 2nd half for the hell of it. Hoyer looks like Painter.

I don’t believe anyone anywhere ever would say that. I honestly think Hoyer is one of the single worst QB’s on a roster.
