Mack's run blocking has been awful the last few weeks.

When is the last time he's hasn't had a defender in the backfield?

It's the second quarter.

Good.  Then then when Colts win 30 to 3 u will have proved your point that there is a lot of young talent on this team.  Until then....

Well, that's generally what happens when Plan A and Plan B become unavailable.  That is the whole point of having a Plan C.

No no. Every team needs a Plan S so they can activate them when they need a super bowl caliber qb at the drop of a hat and are readily available.

That was far from a deep shot.   Good lord

Deep in the sense that if you’re kicker is as good as you say, you pick up 10 and give him a shot. Didn’t mean a 30 yard bomb.

Hmmmmm.  So granted Fittzy and Hoyer r below average qbs.  Yet the Dolphins r winning. What does that say bout the talent that Ballard has assembled?

Well, so far it says that you have no idea what you are talking about.

Mods...can you add a block function, pretty please?

No, they can't.  That's not what a mod does.  You need an admin.

Eh, I'm just tired of us playing from behind, regardless if it's only a 3 point lead. Our offense needs to prove it can take advtantage of some good field position.

D is making it's job.

Yep.  Hopefully the O can get something going with better field position.  We may see AV this drive.

I wish Leonard had better awareness and understanding about when to go for the strip and when it's more important to just make sure you make the solid tackle.

Yeah,   rookie all pro .  Way over rated.   gtho

And this year.  Leonard is living off last years hype.  He is struggling this year.  I will give him the fact that he does make a big play or 2.

It was a 10 yard pass. Not a 30 yard bomb

They don't have to win by 27 to prove that when you're 3rd option at qb is playing

Our run game is so disappointing right now. Consistently killing our drives.

It is hard to run against stacked boxes with all out blitzes...we dont have Barry Sanders

Oh, I know, but it's up to Reich to figure that out even if we have a backup QB in there.

Hoyer is terrible.  Should have run it sooner and took forever to make a decision.  I think Kelly is better.  At least he’s mobile.  Ebron continues to be weak for and coughs up a TD that has changed the momentum of this game.

If  u cancel out the crappy  qb play on each team. What is alarming is that we r playing toe to toe  with a lottery pick team.  That's concerning and it speaks to the talent level on this team.

This is our offense without JB lmao . At least people now can see how good JB has been. This is ridiculous. He also would've picked that blitz up earlier and not fumbled.

    • I will start with I was never a JB fan and even after the 5-2 start I was waiting for the wheels to fall off.  However, besides Tua I would take JB over anyone on that list so far. JB is a model pro and the only negative thing ever to come from him was thru a coach that let him vent about being replaced. Has to be hard on JB bc any other 2nd year starter would throw 18tds and 6int would have countless articles written about his potential.  I think we all know his ceiling is not far away but he is still better than all these guys.
    • I like the nickname. Crazy thing is I knew what you were referencing immediately but I don’t think cheese when someone says Wisconsin.  I think beer and Harley Davidson.    This duo has the potential to be better than 2006.   Not sure if either of them will reach 1000 yards tho with Hines needing snaps as well.  Rivers likes to throw to the RBs.  It depends on how many big runs each guy can manage.
    • Thanks....   I too went back and double checked...   a number of good evaluations.   I’m remembering more of the computer mocks that so many members here love to play.    They were less accurate on Darius.    So that left lots of people here very not happy that night.  Add Smith, Turay and Lewis and made for a long night here on the website.      Took a while to smooth things over here.   A long bumpy ride....
    • Teams have won and gone to SB's and even more have reached the championship game without a great QB. However, in today's NFL if you don't have a elite or very good QB your at a significant disadvantage when going against your opponent who has a elite QB.   However that doesn't mean Eason cant be a excellent QB. I have no idea if he'll ever make it as a starter or not. He's played only 1 season in college because of losing 1 season due to injury and another by being a transfer. But he has the tools, size and a Big arm, and thats something you can't teach.    I personally like the pick and his potential.
