Love it! Gore and Herron are a strong combo. Still could use another all-purpose back for depth. Bring back Bradshaw or sign somebody like Pierre Thomas. But this makes the offense much better.

Structure is nearly everything. For all we know he has an accelerated cap hit of like 6m in his first year or something that is all guaranteed.

I like this move.  Although I'd rather have Murray, I wouldn't want to bet the farm on him.  With an improved O-line (hopefully), our run game will improve.

Nor does he has the track record. Gore is proven. He'll give you 250 carries and 1,000 yards in his sleep.

 

He'll also add a lot of physicality, toughness and leadership and is a big game player in the postseason.

considering that the Eagles were looking at 6 mil/yr. , we might have done ok.  7.5 just ensures that he gets almost 2 years out of his contract, that's all.  I'm fine with that.

Colts fans don't watch a lot of NFC games and understandably so. I don't think some of you realize how good Gore is. Call him old garbage now, but when the season starts you'll find yourself wondering what the Colts ever did without him. Heart-and-soul player.

I think he's kind of their Reggie Wayne.  Been there so long it's hard to get rid of him.  

 

I don't like his age and the number of carries he's had.  But he played well last season and has his whole career.

I love this move. Gore is a smash mouth football player and a great blocker. Runs with heart and toughness. Would be a nice addition...and his contract is not bad at all...Remember people, these are free agents.

Ok, not at all happy with signing an aging RB after the year we have had with

RB injuries. Just split the workload among him, Herron and another serviceable RB

then maybe he will be able to make it to post season.
