Oh I know there's a million possibilities. I just think he's got potential and would love it if he reached it here with us and stayed long term.

Oh your not alone I'm hoping for the same I really like DHB wanted us to grab him once I seem he was released I liked him alot in the draft he just went to the dump known as the raiders

Bob sanders was also a special player. The reason were not having this conversation about 21 is that bob never played. Faulk was a great player, but, if I'm correct, only played a couple seasons for us

5 years. 94-98 seasons. He left on bad terms, but he was a great player.

Updated at colts.com roster.

Chandler Harnish 5

Matt Hasselbeck 8

Griff Whalen 17

Greg Toler 28

LaRon Landry 30

Stanley Havili 39

Lawrence Sidbury 52

Donald Thomas 66

Gosder Cherilus 78

Darrius Heyward Bey 81

Erik Walden 93

Aubrayo Franklin 97

Ricky Jean Francois 99

I figure everyone is taking notice #93, but it takes, to put it properly, "some confidence", to wear old number 78. You better be ready to ball with that number on. ;)

I personally would care none percent, if anyone decided to wear 18 again.

The Chicago Bears were told by the NFL you can't retire anymore numbers. So they will have great players numbers used till the end of time.

The number doesn't make the guy who wore it. It's just a number lol.

So what's the limit? How close are we in numbers retired to the bears?

We have seven officially retired. Unitas, Young, Moore, Donovan, Parker, Berry, Marchetti. Peyton will make it 8 numbers, but he hasn't been officially retired yet.

The Bears have 13 retired.

Announcer: Man, can that kid run......reminds me of #32..Edge.

Color guy: Yea....#112 sure has those fresh legs

Announcer: Ooooooo, that was a devastating hit by #152. Man did he crush him. Sort of Ironic that #52, Clay Mathews use to play that way.

Not really that close, but consider that there will be 90 players at camp every year, positional restrictions to numbers available, only 101 possible number combinations to wear (including 0 and 00, and how often do those get used?), and however many are retired... Doesn't leave that many options. Scrubs might end up sharing a number, but I can't imagine any WANT to if they have the choice.
