Last year at end of season I posted on here. Same ole same ole. And that is what this is. Same ole. Same ole. Same ole crap every single year. One common denominator. Chris Ballard. We have changed coaches, QBs, Defensive lines, Offensive lines, assistant coaches, kickers, and the results are all teh same. A horrible start to teh season. A run in the middle to get fans hopes up and then losses at the end of the season. That is literally the playbook under Chris Ballard. An absolute horrible and I mean horrible GM. But not as bad as our owner. He is so full of pills he can't even think straight or walk. he is a disgrace and this football team looks just like he does. A disgrace.

AR was not great at "quarterbacking" in college, but had glimpses of a high ceiling. By all accounts, he was always going to take more time to transition to an NFL QB. I think not having anybody on the roster that could play forced Ballard into having his developmental guy be his starter, He could not afford to lose this particular potential franchise guy where a less "desperate" situation would allow him to pick a Will Levis in the second or a Jacob Eason in the eth...both of whom also had all of the physical tools but lacked some critical element that needs developing. Cowherd has been making a point that all of these young QBs that are being forced to start, not Stroud, are all playing really badly. Ideally, you have a vet starter while the young guy sits, but it seems the FOs need these guys to hit right away. I would call that desperate, but maybe that's too strong of a word.

i honestly think this might have been ballard's worst offseason when you sum it all up. the cut draft picks, resigning aging players who seem to be underperforming early on. & the proof is in the pudding. Cross leads the NFL in tackles ( or did after the sunday slate, not sure if someone took his spot yet) not only is that ironic he's our best tackler, but the fact he's leading over our LB's goes to show the decline of Speed and Franklin IMO both have seen their best football

Hey, we had a great game plan. The other team chose not to live up to our expectations. It takes two to tangle.
