Wow. i’m rather surprised by the negativity. we havent played well and we’re right in there in a hostile environment against a really good team.   We’re in great shape for the 2nd half.

Gonna ignore the tackle by the helmet on the pick? #playersafety

To my eyes, neither of the last two holding calls on Kelly and Glowinski were legit. Kelly just fell on the DL who was going diving. Glowinski barely touched on the call against him.

Great game so far, only gripe being Wilkins not one stinking carry.

Go Colts!

I know.
he always seems to average 6 or 7 yards/carry but he still rarely gets touches.

It seems its Mack , mack, mack... then mack taps out in the red zone and Hines comes in.

I always thought wilkens would be perfect in the red zone

At this point it’s probably time to just admit that it isn’t capable. Brissett is not a QB capable of doing that. He can move the ball down the field at times, but he can’t shoulder a game, take it over, and will us to touchdowns. It doesn’t matter what happens in the secondary, Brissett will never see it. He reads his intended target and everyone else is just wasting time out there.

Not that they can really prey on a secondary anyways...

I think it's still to early to give up on him.  This is his second year in the system and his first actually orchestrating it.  He been pretty solid.  Room to grow, but solid.

    • I am also excited to see Rogers get a chance.
    • Wow, you don't think Oke can play 3 downs? I guess that explains your gif on my other post. Time will tell I suppose.
    • I don't think we actually disagree on that much here,  the allocation of draft capital is simply unknowable as is who will be resigned and what other teams will do.  To be honest , I can't play that game, it's too much and I'm happy to watch it play itself out. I will say, I would target a Tackle in Rd one, I like the idea of a starting LT on a rookie deal and I like keeping Nelson at G., Tackle has good depth is draft so we're lucky in that respect.  Outside that FA has to play itself out as to whether we go CB or DE etc thereafter.  I simply look for fits in terms of culture, talent, availability and team needs.  Wentz fit, Watt fits, admittedly it's a long shot but I think it can be done.  I'd also cite, Reggie White as an example of a defensive player that impacted a team in such a way and won a Super Bowl, Deion Sanders had that effect as well, I think JJ brings that as well.  If you feel otherwise, that's totally fine, I happen to know QB's aren't the only leaders in a locker room, we would just disagree on that point.  You can have the last point, fun convo.
    • Let's say Leornard is like a 95.    I think Okereke can make it to like 86-90.   Not sure if you are confused by the statement, or the sentiment. I guess we will see what happens with his development.
    • Take a look at Jackson Carmin - OT - Clemson.  6'5" - 345 lbs.  He protected Lawrence's blindside for a couple of years.  IMO he is under rated as far as his draft rankings. He can be groomed into either a tackle or a guard.
