He looks like someone who eats 80% of his hamburger and then complains that it wasn't cooked right and wants a refund

At least our new qb and him eat hamburgers....and not kale salads....real men! lol

Actually that's the look of "I know where all the skeletons are in NE...wouldn't you like to know."

Oh, you should have this guy mikey... on here, that forum poster.

He can tell whether he can trust someone just by looking at them.

Just got me to wondering how you make those kinds of judgements based on a head shot

And within the last 10-14 days, Bill Polian said McDaniels is perfect for the Colts and would be great for any team looking for a new head coach.

So with Polian and Dungy signing off, can we PLEASE move on from over analyzing McDaniels' past and start looking forward.

Smart NFL people are on board with our hire.    The ship had sailed.

He has a clean slate with me....just as Ballard did. While I won't expect too much too fast as this will be a transitional year...I just want to see the team grow from week 1 to week 17...and see young players and the team get better each and every week. Oh..and hopefully we don't see a team come in totally unprepared with an awful gameplan or at the very minimum make some in game adjustments to correct things.

Incredible post NCF! Thank you for saying what needed to be said.

It's time to let Josh's tenure in Denver die. I've certainly turned the proverbial page.

I like your twisted sense of humor Lolly. You'd fit right in at my place. Uh huh. Josh would do that. Think of all the money he must save at restaurants. It's next level cunning at it's best. Just Kidding!

Hey,

Does Indianapolis have tremendous medical specialists for treating migraines? He suffered from those at Denver a lot.

I just want Josh at peak physical condition for say 20 weeks once Sept. rolls around. Crippling migraines are the worst. My step sister tells me that anyway.

I probably know McDaniels more than anyone here from living in Colorado and seeing him coach the Broncos every week, and it's time to let go of his past and give him a chance here. More than impressed by what I've seen in NE and he definitely HC material now and the coach we desperately need. If he implements his schemes from NE onto Andrew Luck and the Colts, we will make a complete 180* turn and make the playoffs this year.

He looks like a man who likes what he sees and sees what he likes. It also looks like he's undressing me with his eyes, but I digress.

In Lollygagger's defense, Josh has a 5 o clock shadow with a sly smirk on his face like he just got away with something he knew he shouldn't have. Put down the video camera Josh. No, defensive signals to tape in January man. LOL!

I know; I know character assassination based on vivid speculation is wrong. But, it's all just harmless fun on my part.

That's an angle I never even thought of RMDY. Cute. I feel a Barry White song coming on.

Something like "Never Never Gonna Give You Up" or Anita Ward's "Ring My Bell."

Okay, I'll stop before I get myself into trouble.

In all seriousness, Josh McDaniels knows how to adapt personnel to what they do best like Tony Dungy said in the video & Jared is basically right. He's the right tool for the job getting INDY back to playoff respectability.

Tool as in pain in the a hem or a perfect fit for a vacancy? Both. I like confidant coaches. It gives us some swag & flair man.

Here I am.... sitting at a bar when I read this. Half of the drink I was taking at the time ended up on the bar maid. She was not impressed. I, on the other hand was. Good one.

Where's his visor?

I thought he was born with one?

Will be nice to see some creative play calling again. We've been stale for years on offense.

Even if we have no idea what he'll implement on D I don't think it matters at this point. Getting the O to sustain some drives will be huge for the D.

Definitely getting excited about what we can potentially look like.

I agree!! But you know how it is on here they will keep over analyzing him. I wasn't happy about this either at first but now that I know they're going to hire him I've embraced it.

I appreciate all the concerns.    I know the guy comes with baggage.   Even all these endorsements from NFL types is no guarantee McDaniels will be great.   But he shouldn't be a bust.  He should've learned from his mistakes.   He should've grown as both a person AND as a coach.

He's got a very good GM working with him.   Together, hopefully the franchise can move forward and return to its glory days.   After three straight lean years I hope for enough progress that we can all feel good about.

What you didn't like the run up the middle on 1st and 2nd down stuff and then have Luck bail us out on 3rd 8 all of these years lmao

So true.

Even looking back now at that season where it seemed like we won every game coming from behind we could have lost all those games if AL wasn't doing his best Peyton Manning impression.

I always loved that second down run after no gain or a loss on first down.

At least we have reason for hope now. Another season of chopping wood I honestly would have lost hope in Jim running the organization. He went out and got the best available guy in terms of pedigree and having a pulse on the game today, at least offensively I should say.

Without beating the dead Chuck horse, his style of ball wasn't working for us.

If you'd like me to lighten up, it's a good idea to indicate you are making a joke, especially one that seems like a shot.

Only issue I have is that I've never seen someone predict a new coach's failure.

No one predicts success, like no one predicts failure in the future. Doing well is a relative term (right now, we would take 9-7 with Luck healthy with the state of the team talent right now if that means a playoff spot, for an example), and once you do somewhat well, "well" gets redefined, that is just how it is.

One can only conjecture if they will be a good fit or not, and even on that front, we have several that are on board and several that are not. If you are not on board with the McDaniels hire, just say it.

You don't have to be convinced, like I can't or don't wish to convince others while giving my opinion.

I have a feeling that we are going to be seeing a few FA receivers this off season.  on the cheap, possession guys...system guys if you will.  I really don't think whe we play our first game next season, we will have the same receiver group. Hilton can fit in anywhere, but after that I'm not so sure.

Since I can only like this once, I thought I would quote.

I know the year is young but I think this will stand as most hilarious post of the year.
