I have said this for over a year.

Is he a very good QB?

Yes.

Should he be the highest paid player in the NFL?

Not even close.

He has a lot of faults. In fact I think fundamental wise, he was a much better QB his last year at Stanford then he is now.  He has regressed and I pin much of that on the OL and coaching.

I still question his arm strength.  I just don't see a big arm when he's playing outdoors.  I thought the gm would end on an int,  but a strip fumble is on Luck too imo.

I didn't realize Luck has to avoid 5 guys by himself. What's that group of players called that are supposed to protect him? On the tip of my tongue... Can't name it.

Then you have no clue what you are watching. Denver had great coverage all day. Talib made a great play for the pick 6. Line let him down today against the most dominant front 7 in football. Strip sack wasn't on him.

He missed wide open guys im the 1st qtr. I'm tired of him getting a pass from these slow starts.  And I hate his throwing motion w/ a passion.  Him and Phillip Rivers have the worst mechanics.  Horrible.

You do know that they were playing the most dominant defense in the league, right?

i don't know what makes men dumber, women parts or football.

Has everyone forgotten how well he played his 1st 3 years in the league???  Everyone acts like last year was his rookie season, so therefore he sucks.

He's put the team in some big holes and had some miraculous comebacks but he hasn't been consistent.

The line isn't good. How can you say the line let him down?  They are easily overmatched by average to good defenses.

Shocker I know, but the contract amounts given out don't correlate just to your current ability. It's a market and as such other forces are in action.

Ask the question another way... if he was a FA, how much do you think he'd get paid?

Denver has a great defense but I do think at times the media seem to overhype him. He will never be Rodgers, Brady, or Peyton because of the turnovers. I said this two years ago but Luck is very similar to Farve. He's a gunslinger that will continue to make risky throws.

Yeah, with chudzinski he's had one interceptions in 3 games. Taking risks all the way /s

How is that performance not letting him down? Regardless of whether the line is bad or not. Good or bad, they still let their QB down. Not sure what you are even trying to say here

Now you know how most of us feel about you.

I would put that more on the GM than the players themselves.

I'd take Watson over him.  And probably Kaaya.

Watson hasn't looked great this year so far against weak college competition and we've seen the RG3/Kaepernick/Geno Smith QB's who run like crazy but die in the NFL.... beyond that you''re not going to be anyone's next gm with that assessment.
