He's a converted receiver, so he's almost guaranteed to not be a day 1 starter.  Really bad pick, in my opinion

I don't know about this pick... Do they have no confidence in Geathers? Green seems like an in the box safety, same as Geathers.. Unless they think they can turn him into a good ball hawking safety with his speed.

I am really surprised we passed on Andrew Billings. There must be something wrong with him. Something off the field or something we are not aware of. 

 

It seems like Green is an interesting developmental prospect at corner. Great size and speed, but destined for special teams this year.

Grigson reached because Alexander was off the board. I didn't like that he traded back or this pick. He's fast and has range but can't cover. Should have went with Billings.

I really liked our first round pick but that being said I will hold true judgement on that pick and this one until I see them on the field in an NFL game.  So many picks bust and so many unexpected players become the perfect fit and household names.  This discussion although fun is all speculative as we like all the so called "experts" really don't know how these guys will work out until the season.  We kept our GM and Coach so now I have to have faith they are doing the right thing until the tape in an NFL season says otherwise.

Billings would be nice but from everything I have read and watched on him he was basically Chapman all over again. Didn't penetrate just held his ground was never a threat to the QB. We got rid of Chapman so really do we just want to sign the same player again?

Just my opinion.  He's a developmental guy, so he'll need at least a few years to get used to the position and the speed of the NFL.  I'm hoping I'm proven wrong, but I don't see it.
