As stated before, this move is a no-brainer. 

 

It could work out perfect too. We will likely have him for about 8 weeks before an injury, and he will give us good production, taking the wear and tare off of Gore.

If Robinson is still ready to go, release Tipton and put him back on PS....  Bradshaw is solid in pass protection, can catch the ball out of the backfield and understands the bulk of the playbook.....and still has some gas in the tank when healthy...    would be a very nice pick up right now!

That's a good point. But not in the way you made it. Varga could be headed to the PS. By signing Thigpen, 

Varga is relegated to a pure special teams role. Tipton is the more experienced runner, and looked decent in his few chances. Varga could be off the roster today.
