as did i, in all my leagues.

Kind of a bummer for me. I have Gore who's been servicable this yr. The last 3 weeks was what I was hoping for the rest of the yr.

Gore is 12th in the league in rushing yards and tied with a bunch of backs for 4th in rushing tds. That's with Pep forgetting he was on the roster week 1.

It'll be interesting to see how it shakes out in fantasy football.

Back in the real world it should help the team

Greater move if had these 2 backs 3 years ago. Hope Bradshaw who plays well when healthy, can last the 11 games in the regular season.

6, heck, let's just go 7, 2 TE and RB and Luck....

We used 6 O-Linemen against Philly last season which was the best Run game I've seen from the Colts since Edge was here. The Pats used 6 to 7 O-Linemen against us last season in November and mixed in play-action. In fact, near the goal line they used 7 Linemen, 2 TE, 1 FB and Jonas Gray.

Tipton needs to be gone from the state of Indiana period

I like Tipton, I personally think he is an underrated catchingout of the backfield RB, he is a power back and runs through the holes pretty well, he just needs to get a little faster and he'll be fine. He should stay with the team whether it be on Active Roster or Practice Squad, just in case we need him in the future due to possible injuries.

Well, many of us have been calling for Bradshaw since preseason (as well as wanting the current O-Lineup out of what we had to choose from).  Now let's see if it works.  This has certainly been the best received action by Colts Management in a few years in message board terms.  Imagine the shockwave if we utilize the short pass game to the backs along with a much improved lineplay and running back options to get the double teams off Hilton so that our deep receivers could unleash against the Pats as well.  I still think New Englands double headed running game/short pass game is going to score over 40.  If we can keep turnovers away, it could be a really good offensive shootout.  On the other hand, if Luck comes back after no INT's the past two weeks and throws 4 INTS, that's going to deflate everyone.  (Pun not intended).

One thing I can say about Tipton is I have yet to see him fumble.

No way this signing will bite us.  Varga has been put on IR and all we have is the rookie Robinson and Tipton.

It took Richardson an entire year before he learned our offense.  It's an absolute no brainer to go out and sign

a guy like Bradshaw who already knows our system.  Doesn't have to clear any junk out of his head from somebody elses playbook.  He's coming back to the playbook he just left from.  Now tell me a running back on the free agent market that has experience with our playbook and can contribute right away?

If he gets hurt we will just have what we had before he came here, which is Tipton and Robinson.  There is nothing to pay for.

You post some ridiculous things these days.  Tipton looked good with only 2 carries a couple of weeks ago.  Nobody who says this watched him run and catch in the last Bronco game.

Love the tweets....the posts...too snarky.  You never used to be that way???????

This is a very smart move in deeper leagues. It could also be worth the bench spot in leagues that are not so deep, just to see what happens over the next few weeks.

If memory is serving me correctly, I believe Bradshaw was on pace to break a record for TD receptions by a RB last year. He was a good play at RB in PPR leagues because we were dumping the ball off to him quite often.

    • It depends on how good AR will be, if he is good we can win 11 with the help of another great player, we won 9 with Minshew, should have been 10.
    • Gotta have a trade partner.Big ? Is would Arizona trade back that far knowing they’re gonna miss out on one of those top 3 Wr’s.I would also call New England and Los Angeles too.I don’t see MHJ getting past the 4th pick unless a Minnesota or Denver trades up for one of those top QB’s.I also don’t see the Giants if they stay put at 6 not taking Nabors I think that’s who they got they’re eyes on with that pick.
    • I think this probably isn't an objective viewpoint. I think you want fireworks, and you're an eternal optimist. Nothing wrong with that, but I think a more practical viewpoint is to acknowledge that taking huge chances isn't exactly a recipe for success. (You're going to point to examples that worked out; I'm going to counter with twice as many that failed.)   The bolded especially. First, it seems like you chose 11 games because you feel like that's the target to keep up with the Texans. Second, I don't think the Colts are one player away from keeping up with the top tier of the AFC. I think a lot has to go right for the Colts to be in the mix with the Chiefs, etc. I said at the beginning of the offseason, I think we're still one draft class away from being in those discussions.   But if you can talk yourself into one guy being the answer, just one playmaker holds the key for the Colts to be in contention, then yeah, identify your favorite prospect and bang the table for the Colts to do whatever they have to to get that player. That would be awesome for us. But I think the reason Ballard doesn't do that is because it's flawed team building (historically speaking), not because he's afraid.. You can promise steak dinners based on your hunches, but that's not exactly how I want the GM to make decisions.
    • Even in 2021 draft Chase was selected 5th by the Bengals, best move they have ever made. That gave Burrow gigantic help. They did the right thing and got Burrow what he needed.
