True I would think. Why pay veterans salary when a rookies salary is capped? Plus a young hungry RB too.

We just paid for a solid veteran runnung back, why pay for another? I rather draft our future back and have him learn behind Gore. Since it's a deep draft, this will be a perfect opportunity to draft one.

Wouldn't mind it. As productive as Boom was during the past year, he is replaceable too.

Gore, Moreno, 4th rounder in a deep RB draft, would be a nice backfield.

I think Moreno is an injury risk that makes it difficult to commit a roster spot. I think that's the issue.

He is still trying to come back from a torn Achilles has no burst that injury is bad news for RB the reason I don't see Ballard back.

Moreno I like him but might as well go Bradshaw If we are going injury prone vet.

Young mans position draft to groom behind Gore. Booms and the rookie battle for #2. That would put us 3 deep.

And it's my opinion Freeman is better than Luck. Both of our opinions are ridiculous, but they're ours.

We're cool & I realize you're probably being sarcastic. I get that. I just never wanna get on your bad side. I know your response wasn't addressed to me personally. There's just certain members I really like who I never want to be on the receiving end of & you're one of those select few. Just think of this post as a goodwill gesture that if I ever upset you it's nothing intentional immunity thing capiche? Are we clear? LOL!  :hat:

Everytime I see that Natl. Anthem image of Knowshown, I always wonder if he's shedding tears & saying to himself "Why in god's name did I leave Peyton Manning, the Broncos, & the best success I ever had?"

 

I know; I know. He went to Miami to get paid more money, but in my heart of hearts, I know Moreno misses what #18 meant to his career: Everything. He was washed up before Manning made him relevant again.

Wouldn't have a problem with it except it would tie up a roster spot that we will likely want to use for a drafted RB.  Myself and a lot of others wanted to sign a FA and draft one.  Gore was our FA.  I'd like to get one in the draft to be more of a long term solution.

      So true. I was watching his presser yesterday as I wanted to get a feel for him after some of the negativity surrounding his personality on the draft day, and I LOVED how happy and excited he was. I had a little fear that some of the fan base would buy into the negativity prematurely and make it a rough start for him, but I don’t think so anymore.    I think he and Latu are both going to be playmakers for us, if not this year then very soon. Have a feeling they bring exactly want this team needed to finally take off. They bring a lot of faith to me, together with Richardson and Steichen. Can’t explain it, but the pieces to the puzzle is suddenly to see on the table.

      Cubs beat the Pirates tonight but the Brewers won as well, what else is new lol. Cubs are now 23-16, Brewers are 23-15.

      Couldn’t agree more! The chip on his shoulder is a very good look. That said, I have always valued the “clutch” gene in players.    It’s truly something that can’t be coached and can’t be taught. AD has IT! Period. Exclamation point! He has it. Name a better receiver in the college football playoffs/ championships ever…   You can’t teach that. He has it. He can be that guy. He is the 33-32 Colts over the Pats, 4th and 1, AFC Championship, game changer. He can be that guy… Will he? I have no dang idea. But does he have the ability to be? Yes! Resounding, yes!

      I absolutely LOVE that Mitchell picked 10 as a constant reminder that 10 WR’s were picked before him.  That is a GIGANTIC chip on his shoulder.   So far I like everything I’m reading about the kid.  There may be speed bump or hiccup some day….  But so far so good.
