I didn't see him play that much against the Bengals, but I expect to see more of him against the Broncos.

We'll probably have him helping out on Julius Thomas I think.

That's prob cause Landry is better against the run which we prob expected the Bengals to do a lot of. We will prob see more Sergio this game to try match him up against Thomas since Landry is awful in coverage

I hope he plays to but honestly I think Landry has been playing well of late IMO!

I don't know, I was watching the replay and it looked like he was late to the ball and missed some easy tackles. I don't have the All 22 so it may be he was just doing his assignments.

I hope you're right, we need all the help we can get. I'd like to see him on their TE instead of Jackson.

Read the article Superman posted. Landry has the better overall grade than Brown since his return. Brown does have the higher pass defense grade but run defense and overall grade goes to Landry.

I mean, isn't that what I just said? Lol

If that's what you meant then I guess I just wasted a some time typing.   To me, it sounded like you were saying that Landry was not really playing better than Brown, just that his run defense was better.  So my response to that was yes his run defense is better but overall his play is better as well... according to PFF.

AJ Green and Gresham were both out for the Bengals, who are basically their 2 biggest weapons.  The Colts were allowed to match up Vonte on Sanu and only had to play 1 deep safety, bringing Landry up into the box to stop the run.

Colts dodged a huge bullet with those injuries, it allowed them to play a specific gameplan against a gimpy offense.  Denver is going to be a whole different animal.

Sergio was on SeriusXM nfl radio 'The Opening Drive' show and they surprised him with having Ric Flair on the phone with them.  Guess Ric Flair is a good friend of the hosts on the show and him and sergio joked around.  Really caught sergio offguard at first.  Ric Flair also said that John Fox was his best friend in the NFL after being asked if he was going to root for the Colts after Sergio's impersonation.  Really funny exchange between them all.

Whew. I sure am glad we played the only team to ever have injured players. It was pretty unfair of us to play them considering they're the only injured team in football.

If only football was played hypothetically. Everything would be so much different!!!

Bullet evaded though!!!!!!

You couldn't have had an easier opponent in the post season.. everyone from here on is going to be leaps and bounds more dangerous than the gimpy Bengals

Great? That's awesome to you or something?

Hey if the Pats beat the Ravens. FYI I'll hypothetically count that against you because it should be the Steelers, but they were hobbled and you got lucky with the Ravens.

Wow you're right that is easy and satisfying!!!!!!!

No but your snide and condescending remarks are awesome...  which is why I will enjoy seeing the Colts lose because of people like you.. if they win, I'll privately congratulate a few decent people on these forums, but people like you I will bask in the glory of the defeat

I was directly responding to someone who said that Landry was playing well because the Colts thought the Bengals would run more... they knew they would run more because their 2 biggest weapons on offense were out of the game..

But don't let me stop you from being completely rude, obnoxious, snide and condescending.. all great qualities!

Ric Flair is without a doubt the dirtiest player in the game, and one of the best overall. I'm glad I got a chance to see him wrestle Randy Savage for the WWF title at Wrestlemania 8 right here in Indianapolis. The Hoosier Dome was rockin'.

/Sergio was on a roll too.

    • The Colts handed Taylor a boat load of money which is unheard for a running back in today’s NFL.  You don’t do that and take him off the field in crucial situations for Trey Sermon and Tyler Goodson.  Shane has done just that in two of the last three games he’s coached.  Not playing maybe your best offensive weapon for a whole fourth quarter is criminal.  Shane is trying to be too cute and over thinking things trying to fool other teams and it’s not working in the slightest.  Play your best players at the most critical points of games.  That’s why you paid them.
    • People come up with the strangest over reactions ever when the Colts lose.
    • I agree 100 Ballard time is up , him and Bradley. You can preach accountability and retain Bradley another year….Ballard loves to say guys just need to hit the layup… he should take his own advice we all knew we needed help in the secondary this year no moves, we all knew we needed help last year at corner , oline year before. I talking about obvious weaknesses media calls him out on it year after year and he plays it off like he smarter than everyone then admit mistakes at the end of year and does the same thing. Bradley doesn’t make any adjustment like he runs what he runs and that it
    • To be honest this is malpractice by Ballard ….. like I know they think us fans are stupid but some of us played sports , coached sports , watched sports etc… we know what we are seeing like everyone knew we needed depth in the second. But Ballard doesn’t bring vets in and makes guys compete for a job he hands them to players he thinks are nice people a deserve a shot. Ala Pinter, NFL is a league where you get what you earn ,you eat what you kill , not what you deserve. Ballard need to take a hard look at him self at look at how other teams that win are built. We need speed at the corner position and a scheme shift. Like no HC under Ballard has been able to pick they DC he normally has one before they get hired and they retain Ballard guy
