We were the underdog against the 49ers,Seahawks,and Broncos and they were all some of our best victories of the year. I just really hope that this team doesn't go back into the habit of falling behind early like they did earlier in the season. I want our defense to show up like they did against San Francisco.

A week off isn't always what it's cracked up to be. Teams get out of rhythm, as evidenced by the recent failures of the bye teams advancing. As far as healing and resting, that's exactly what Kansas City did and it seemed they were in danger of not being able to field a team toward the end of the fame. Sure KC was initially in rhythm, but they ultimately came undone just enough to fall short. Here's to the Patriots.

Did anyone else notice how much better the coverage was in our secondary after Toler left and Gordy started getting some snaps?  Lynch did an okay job while filling in for Landry, too. 

 

Toler was clearly either rusty or still bothered by that groin because he looked snow.

 

Vontae looked a step off as well.  Hope he gets healed up quickly.

@Zibby43, Yeah, these guys "might" have been game ready, but not Playoff Game ready. As badly as they wanted to play & support the team, it just wasn't time. Rough year, and unfortunately helped in our defense having a rough start. Once somebody picked up the mojo that got handed in at the lost-and-found, it was all Colt's Ballin'!

I agree, bye-weeks are overrated. Teams need to play in the first round to stay in sync. However, the Patriots have played very well the past 2 years after getting the first round bye.

how do you read these point lines... Ive seen people post we are -2.4 or we are 5.5....Whats this mean actuallly 

 If a team is - 2.5... that means that team is the betting favorite by two and one half points. So they would need to win by 3 or more points for people betting that team to win.

 

If a team is + 5 ... that team is a five point underdog. So betters taking that team need them to lose by less than 5 points to win the bet. If they lost by 5 points the bet would be a push.

 

You will never see a line 2.4 like you have in your post. it's either a whole number or a half point.
