Baltimore, no doubt. I think they give us the best chance to win a playoff game. We match up well and I think if Pagano can be there, he can give us some inside info.

They would all have good storylines.

Houston - rookie QB vs. solid defense, division rivalry, etc.

Baltimore - this is probably our "easiest" matchup, Pagano vs. his old team, Baltimore's hate for Indy

Denver - Luck vs. Peyton

Pats - they smoked us the first time we played, Colts vs. Pats rivalry

I'm just hoping our last playoff game is a victory over anyone in the NFC, if you know what I mean

Denver.

Brady in the playoffs? Mhhm good luck with that one, Baltimore would not be so bad if no Suggs or Lewis, but Rice would likely run all over us. The Texans D would be all over Luck and probably Foster to so no thanks. I say Denver because of Peytons less then stellar playoff history I think. At the end of the day I think we still lose to Denver, Peyton vs our Secondary (no matter what his playoff history shows) wont likely be pretty but I think thats our best shot to open up the playoffs

Be Careful What You Wish For Friend :) I personally think the Ravens would give us a better chance but all the teams will be playing to WIN

We've seen how our team looks against New England on the road and it's not good.

I think Peyton would tear our defense apart. He's a great QB and even though it's a new system it's a lot of the same players he spent years going up against in practice and great QBs tend to win those match ups when they play.

It's HIGHLY unlikely we would see the Texans in round one.

So by default that leaves the AFC North Winner as probably our best match up.

I am in no way saying I think we would beat the AFC North Winner but I think that's our best match up.

I d say Baltimore would be the easiest of the four and second would be Denver so we could see a Manning's Broncos vs Luck's Colts

I'd take whoever wants it. I'm not afraid of any team at all. No team gives us an easy win. When we played the Pats we beat ourselves, Luck gave them 14 points. We just need to limit our mistakes and we'll be fine.

Despite the fact that it's been the better part of a year, this still looks incredibly bizarre to read on this forum. I still can't imagine him facing the boys in blue...it'd be like seeing Batman fight Robin. Just something you never expected to see. I agree though...the Colts best bet is probably going to be Baltimore.

Baltimore, then Houston.

I want nothing to do with Brady or Peyton. Let them take each other out.

I want Denver. I want to see Freethis take down Peyton... You know they have wanted to their entire careers. Other than that, I would want Baltimore.

  1. Our run D is better than our pass D. I am more confident in stopping Ray Rice and a mediocre Flacco that wont make us pay for mistakes on the road.
  2. Pagano, Redding, Zbikowski, and our safeties coach Roy Anderson all have enough inside info on Ravens' D
  3. Arians has played Ravens' D ample times to know what works as well
  4. Ladarius Webb is on IR, their secondary is not as stout as it can be. As long as you are mindful of Ed Reed, we should be good

The above are all several factors that tell me Baltimore is the best match up. If Haloti Ngata and Ladarius Webb were playing and Suggs & Lewis were not banged up, it would be different. I do think that is a big difference, Ngata in the middle against our O-line. Just put a hurt on Suggs' biceps if he tries to hurt us :).

Whoever wins the North is the team I want! I personally think that Pittsburgh's going to win that division...

I have a gut feeling about how things might play out. I will talk about the Steelers after the MNF game between Pats and Texans.

Baltimore.....fo all the reasons stated plus that is the team (and the QB) the Colts match up best against

    • Sadly I am not in London.  The work I do extended into and devoured an entire 6 week vacation we had planned for 2 years supposedly ending with the London game.  I sent my wife on her own to Texas to see family and I am still buried in work and far from finished.  I am really bummed as I doubt I will have a chance to see the Colts outside of the country again in my lifetime.  (Not in good health).  I really wanted to meet as many of you European Colts fans as I could as I love traveling and hanging with locals and making worldwide friendships.  I hope you all have a great time and I will be watching like most Colts fans here on TV.      If any of you get together because of this post, please tip a drink and be glad you're meeting new folks from far and wide.  I have spent my adult life bringing musicians together and I wanted this to be a chance for me to meet up with fellow Football fans overseas as I spent many years playing before switching to music.  Enjoy it! And let's all hope for a win!
    • I dont remember Sanders or Manning getting suspended for PED use. Nor do I remember any of them failing a drug test. Mathis had a semiplausable excuse at least. I don't think Jones did
    • It's also funny because they passed on Carson Wentz, who's looking insanely good atm. Browns just can't catch a break.
    • There goes my fantasy season. AP, Keenan Allen, and Sammy Watkins in my first 3 rounds... ugh
    • I get what you're saying, but even if they do beat us, 1-3 is still not what the media hyped them up to be.
  • Welcome New Members

    • Welcome here Nils!   I can tell you, most of football fans in Hungary are Patriots fans...unfortunately.
    • Hi, Nils here....   I know a lot of Europeans support the Patriots, but all I can say is no way man, no way!   I'm not entirely sure when I started to follow and cheer for the Colts, but I has no shame in admitting that it was when Manning begun to really shine. It was probably back in 1999 because I seem to remember that play-off game against the Titans.   I also remember the I loved how the Colts would play a beautiful offensive game whereas other teams were boring with their defensive strengths. Aaaahh, those were the days!   I was introduced to American Football during my American Politics/presidential election study in Washington D.C. in the fall of 1996 (Clinton vs Dole). Didn't really get attached to any team back then, so you can say that Redskins just left me totally uninspired.   It is a great and welcoming forum here - and that is just how I remembered America too.
