Should the Colts bring Demaryius Thomas in?

Coming off of his second achilles injury, i say no.

I didn't realize it was his second.   Was his first one in his second year in the league?

I would consider it (at a low price) because he is only 31 and the Colts really needed another WR with experience last season.

I'd also be Ok with passing on him.

That a joke? Hes in his thirties, coming off a major injury, wouldn't be ready to go at the start of the season, and hasn't been productive for years.

He's 31.

Had 83/949 in 2017

Had 90/1083 in 2016

That is pretty productive.

Again, I am not saying that they should pursue him and give him a huge contract, just that they should kick the tires.

I would go with him over any of our WR's outside of Hilton.

Of course it would depend on the injury.

I remember reading on Walter Football how Demaryius Thomas switched to the same horrible diet that ruined Arian Foster's career.  In Fantasy Football 2018 I drafted Thomas in the 8th round and still took a beating for drafting him at all.  Him and Dez will be playing poker every 3rd Sunday this season.

Don't believe the hype that we need to burn an early round pick on a WR.  Cain will be back and Ballard will find a value guy in FA.

Im not hig on D. Thomas but wouldnt mind having a seasoned WR take the #2 for a  (partial) year...let Cain, Fountain or (insert Rookie WR) ease into and take over the #2 by season end

I agree, bringing in a veteran wr is a need this off-season, even if one is drafted

That is why I thought the Colts should look at Thomas.

Perhaps he could be a value signing.   I can't imagine he will get a big contract from anyone.

Ballard's own words tell ME that will get no consideration.
Unless he does a 1 year low $$$ prove it deal, he would surely at least consider that i suppose.

Why should Bell take a prove it deal when his former team franchise tagged him? What does he need to prove if he has been compensated as top 5-10 salaried RB?
