  1. Would be a first, plus the amount he will want is very high and Ballard moved up to draft Khari last year. Plus Ballard just traded a 1st for Buckner so out of the question.
  2. I think its way to early to crown Ballard and I'm a pro Ballard guy. I don't get the hype with Rhodes. Yes he was good years back but he will be 30 this year and lost his step plus been injured the past 2 years. He's not a game changer anymore. Also Rivers is an upgrade but he doesn't have the weapons like he had in LA. To count on Campbell and some rookies I'm not putting my trust in just yet. I'm not trying to sound like a debbie downer but Im looking at this realistically. But i will also admit when I'm wrong. Rhodes and Rivers could have a great year but time will only tell.
  3. Their defense is Legit Legit. Colts isn't as good yet. Plus Steelers will be more potent than when Big Ben gets back.
  4. I'll say this. Knowing we have now an All pro DT in Buckner is good but let's sure do hope this pans out right. Trading the 13th overall pick for a guy that will have really maybe 5 good years left since he just entered his prime and everyone knows when you hit 30 you're not that same player. If they weren't enamored with the pick they could have traded down. I know some team would possibly want to trade up to grab Lamb, Ruggs or Jeudy even in a deep WR draft. Personally I like the trade and I don't. I see pro's and con's of it. I think it will boost the defense but also I think this is a type
  5. I remember before the season started I posted in a thread he was going to make between 16-18 mil per year and some mocked me for that since he was never a pro bowl guy. Goes to show when you have a top 10 LT in the league your going to make that type of cash. Well worth it. Glad he's on board for 2 more years.
  6. This draft is going to be crazy. I think it depends on who falls and if the Ballard and company fall in love with a Qb. Take 1- If Jeudy or Lamb fall do the Colts pass up on an Elite WR. Take 2- Say Colts fall in love with a Qb like Love. Do they stand pat and take him or think hey grab Jeudy or Lamb if they fall and move back up in the 1st to draft a Qb. Take 3- Say lamb and Jeudy dont fall and they're not sold on taking a Qb this early I see Kinlaw or Epenesa being both fits. I really think we will be shocked due to the abundance of talent tha
  7. Shaq Barret from Denver is a RFA this year. Dude is a very good 3-4 OLB but gets over shadowed by Von and Ray. Barret most likely will not be signed because Shane Ray will be due for a contract soon. Barrett is also 24 years old, so he is still very young.
  8. Even though Darnold looks like he will be a good Qb but that is not for sure. If that was to happen, I'm keeping Luck all day and use the draft picks to build a team around luck. Plus, Luck is only 28 and is barely entering his prime. In my eyes Luck is a generationall talent with no help.
  9. I agree with most. He has the tools but injury and putting it together he hasn't done. This is my personal preference, If I'm going into free agency I rather take Allen Robinson over Moncrief all day. If Allen was paired with Luck my god. I know Allen will cost more but this year's free agency class is weak. Pay a little bit more and get the top dog. Other options would be Pryor or Jeffrey even though Jeffrey's injuries are concerning as well.
  10. If this report is true I still don't think he has had a setback. I think the Colts are still doing the right thing and looking long term. This is something you simply do not want to rush and I think Andrew will even appreciate this more knowing the Colts is doing best by him. I'll say this. Newton had surgery on his shoulder, not as severe but I think they rushed him back a little bit too soon. There are some that say watching him he does not look right. As much as I want to see Luck it's the best thing is to make sure he is 100%
  11. One thing I don't get is I know luck is close but why it's taking so long for practice and all. Drew Brees shoulder was horrific with a complete tear, rotator cuff jacked and he was able to play 16 games that year. His injury even happened on December 31st.
  12. If the coaching staff was comfortable with puthing haeg at RT they would. IMO he's better suited for guard at the nfl level just like mewhort is. What I think people need to understand is its very hard to play tackle at the next level especially learning new technique. Terron Armstead didn't play his first year and had struggles in his second year. That's the way it goes. To completely write off Clark and have Banner in my mind is foolish. Banner will not be able to keep up with edge rushers off the edge if he was to start. Clark has the ability to keep edge rushers off the end the problem for
  13. I think as of week one it will be Castonzo, Haeg, Schwenke, Mewhort, Clark. I still think Clark will hold the RT spot. I know he's been getting some flack but I think it's because they expect a lot from him and trying to motivate him to win that RT spot. I think Banner still needs some work but who truly knows.
  14. I'll say this, the first half of the schedule isn't favorable if Luck misses games. But the games after Pittsburgh I can see the Colts winning those.
  15. I will be disappointed if Clark doesn't win the RT spot. He has all the tools to be a great tackle in this league.
  16. As much as you don't want your young O-lineman to miss time this is a huge relief. I'll definitely take multiples weeks over multiple months. They just need to make sure he is fully healthy before he goes back out there. Don't need a lingering injury
  17. I remembered when I had my first beer.... What a clown!
  18. Not at all. I know there are some Morrison haters on the forum but the guy showed up towards the end of the year and made his presence known. I would like to see what he looks like in his 2nd year at his true position at mlb.
  19. Thank you. People freaking out because they are not giving timeliness or not for being out for freaking OTA's is ridiculous.
  20. I think people need to chill out on Luck. Rapoport said he should be back by Mid July. I expect him to miss most of training camp but just because he's not out there for OTA's doesn't mean squat. He may be doing limited throwing sessions inside the building for all we know. I know surgery is scary but that's the thing is he needs to rehab and rest. It takes time.
  21. Maclin and Moncrief on the outside and T.Y in the slot would be pretty nice.
  22. Ya same here. I made peace that he may miss time especially with them having T.J working out at SS. I will say he could come back for game 1 but with neck surgery is something you do not want to rush. If Luck were to miss a games I hope it's only 1 but I honestly think he will be out there the first game unless something happens in his rehab. I just pray and hope Luck and Geathers are out there on The first game.
  23. I agree, it can be a little concerning but I'm not to worried. They are truly doing the right thing and letting time be the answer. Everyone responds different so they don't want to give out a possible date and if it's not met people freak out. I honestly think he will miss training camp but can see him playing the last 2 preseason games. Also, Luck's reaction in the OTA interview seems confident that he will be out there Game 1 but he definetly does not seem confident about training camp. The one I'm concerned about is Geathers.
  24. I think he will get around 7-11 sacks but I also wouldn't be surprised is Sheard is gone after this year depending on his play. I think this will be a year that Basham can come in on 3rd downs while also develop to be a true 3 down OLB. Simon was a great signing IMO and see him playing out his contract
  25. I sure do hope he can come back from this. He is an important piece to this D and I do not trust T.j. Green yet. Im praying we can see that combination of Hooker and Geathers
