Last week I was unable to watch the game. Outcome = Colts slaughterhouse

This week I will be unable to watch the game again. Grab your popcorn and enjoy. Colts will go in and wreck Da Raidaaaas.

My gift to you ;)

Wasn't a slaughter but you're still barred from watching another Colts game now.

I am not usually superstitious, but I agree with csmopar you're not allowed to watch.  Why take a chance.

@NewEra       Did you start watching in the 2nd and 3rd quarters by chance, and then turned the TV off in the 4th?

Either way, M-V-P, M-V-P, M-V-P!

No but I popped on the game thread lol. Crap, that means no game thread or watching the games uggggh lol

You should watch last week's and this week's It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.  It's about their superstitions before the SB.  Makes perfect sense to me.

Lol I completely agree. Will have to check that out.

I'll have to try. I'd love nothing more than to see the pats lose!

I will NOT be watching Sunday! Have to keep this streak alive!

Watch us make the SB and you can't watch

Also no game thread either. You must seclude yourself from society. Go in one of those sensory-deprivation chambers or something...

:sarcasm:

Thanks for the sacrifice, brother!  You're alright in my book.

on a similar  note, my 9 month old grandson got a Colts T and the streak began.  Gotta make sure he wears it again.

He'll have to wear that T  till we lose. Then we try again heh. Hopefully for his sake we don't go on a year long streak, might get a little snug ;)

We need to put NewEra in a "Silence of the Lambs" type of pit

on game day. If we lose then he stays in there all week.

I'm going to need some lotion at least

By the way how was that sensory-deprivation chamber? Should I try it out?:sarcasm:

But seriously, keep it going! :)

Plot twist, we were up 29-13 so I popped on for a sec. hurry up and got back off and we started losing. So jags have the ball marching down field for a possible win so I pop back on, fumble. Now I'm torn lol

    • I guess it's only fair to give credit where credit is due.   I don't like Ballard's overall team building approach, but he's definitely made some good picks with Alec Pierce and Will Fries. Also it seems like Tanor Bortolini will turn out good. Dalton Tucker looks promising.
    • This is the best WR room by far in the Ballard era.  The last thing this team needs is Adams.  And he doesn’t want to come to Indy.   He wants to go to a team that could make a deep playoff run.   That’s not the Colts in 2024.
    • Who are we talking about?       Off the top of my head and the only two I can think of are Autry and Houston.  And that was due to the first year if Covid and the salary cap didn’t go up as scheduled — it went down.   I think roughly $18-20 mill.     Who else?   I’m curious who you think.
    • As I posted this in another thread…David Carr injured his oblique tonight against the chiefs and will have an MRI tomorrow.    https://www.nfl.com/news/saints-qb-derek-carr-exits-monday-night-loss-to-chiefs-early-with-oblique-injury   he also answered media questions eerily similar to AR when he too suffered an oblique injury recently. I will be very interested to see how Carr’s injury shakes out compared to AR and see if he makes it back to the field any faster than AR does and such. Obviously they may not be identical levels of injury but it will be interesting to monitor.   “Carr, who simply answered "not good" when asked how he was feeling following the game, said he would have an MRI on Tuesday.“   "I couldn't do what I needed to do," Carr said. "In the simplest form and I asked if there was anything we can do about it and there was not enough time to do that. So, I would have done anything to be out there and keep fighting, but I couldn't. It sucks."
    • Ironically Carr injured his oblique and will have an MRI tomorrow…same as ol AR.
