10 am to 10 pm - 8 picks in 12 hours, should be fair, IMO, averages to 90 minutes per pick. Anything more than that would be gravy. People can always PM their picks to you in order of priority, that always works.

I think the method we went with was the highest ranked player that made sense.  For example, if the Seahawks are on the clock in round 2 and the highest ranked players are a QB and a DB, they'd be given the DB since it wouldn't make sense for them to take a QB so early.  But it's up to the participants/commish how this one goes.  That's just how we did it last time

Thanks for thinking of me here. I'm going to have to pass on this one I think. Got a newborn at home and the wife and I are on alternate work schedules while trying to sleep any chance the little guy gives us, haha. I don't want to be the guy that ends up wasting hours of time and misses his pick.  I'll be following along though, to be sure!

I dont remember which of the 2 mock drafts it was, but there was an issue with the wording on this rule. I think clarifications were added so that it was a vote on which players were the best fit rather than just filling any need no matter how big or small with the top player on the board. 

 

Doesnt matter to me either way, just wanna make sure we have it clearly defined so as to not cause issues.

If you want to make things go more quickly, you could just do autodraft for the remaining teams.  Saves time now for assigning teams to people, and it'll make the draft go faster too.  With that said, you aren't necessarily pressed for time, so this might not be a good idea.  Just a thought
