At least half the receivers on a team wear #s in the 80s

I'd say 80% of tight ends wear 80

Then you have players who have 8 as the last number (48,58,68...) which averages out to about 4 players.

Add all that up and you have about 315 players who have 8 in their numbers. That's a lot.
